A PhD position is currently open in our research group at SLU within the Department of Applied Animal Science and Welfare, focusing on sustainable broiler production and animal welfare.
The project aims to improve sustainability in broiler production by increasing understanding of filled crops at slaughter and identifying practical solutions through experimental trials, farm studies, and slaughterhouse investigations. The position offers a stimulating research environment, close collaboration with industry, and opportunities for teaching and international networking.
