Inclusion is an absolute essential for human well-being. Itβs essential so we feel safe. So we can engage and be our best selves. But itβs essential to tacking racial disparity within the NHS and how patients are treated.

as an ally, you want to be able to look back on your actions and know you did as much as you could in any given situation to combat or support π€

Tasha Ghouri, Love Island's first deaf contestant has partnered with XRAI Glass who 'create software solutions powered by Augmented Reality which enrich and empower lives by giving people the tools to be themselves.'
XRAI Glass have released glasses which provide live subtitles provide those with hearing loss, providing more accessibility in their every day. Tasha, who uses a cochlear implant tried these glasses in a particularly heart warming video which shows just how powerful inclusion is, this time, with game changing tech. π
Seeing the emotional overwhelm from both Tasha and Mitchell Feldman, co-founder and CMO of XRAI Glass, reminds us of just how deeply rooted inaccessibility and exclusion is.
Inclusion and accessibility is so much more than a tickbox - it's a feeling! π
If you haven't watched the video, grab the tissues to see both Tasha and Mitchell tearing up over this powerful experience.

A gem from June Sarpong in her book 'Diversify'.
Perhaps it's worth considering what you're missing out on by neglecting inclusivity in your organisation and community. What wonderful people, conversations and experiences are you limiting yourself from?
π€ This is a great mindset to conquer some of the fear we might internalise around inclusion.
What if I lose out on a promotion?
What if I say something wrong?
What if I make a mistake?
Sure, that might happen. But what if the outcome of those things is a great conversation, connection or game changing experience for you? π€
Growth comes from mistakes! This is a beautiful way to keep that in mind. π±
