The process is fun and it’s a great way for little ones to get creative. ⁣
⁣
The first step is to apply the tape in the pattern of your choice. Just play with the tape on the paper, until you are happy with the result. Make sure to press down on the edges of the tape, so you will avoid the paint to bleed underneath.⁣
Next part, I let my little one paint the way she wanted.⁣
When is done, let it dry completely and carefully remove the tape. ☀️⁣

Just make your design out of glue and sprinkle with salt. Remove any excess of salt and let it dry. 🌈⁣
Little ones can use paint brushes or pipettes with watercolours to dab the colour onto the salt.🎨⁣

🐌🐌🐌 Nature Playdough Snails

For today’s activity, we decided to make these adorable and extremely simple nature snails using cardboard, homemade playdough and nature parts.

Playdough helps build young children’s fine motor skill development. It’s great for strengthening muscle tone in little hands – squishing, rolling, cutting, pulling and squashing playdough develop the strength, dexterity, and control needed to manipulate everyday items such as pencils, scissors, zippers and buttons.

Such a great and simple activity for little ones to get creative.

🌈 🍃 NATURE COLOR HUNT // Here’s a great way to enjoy a nature walk while playing with color recognition! 😍 First, the boys enjoyed collecting leaves 🍃 and flowers 💐 in all the colors of the rainbow! 🌈 Then they came home and had a fun time sorting those colors while making some silly hair people! 😂 Read on for the easy instructions on how I made the board!

(1) On a piece of cardboard use the base of an old tin can to make 6 circles in each color of the rainbow;�(2) Add some eyes and smiles!
(3) And, use double sided tape or contact paper on top of the cardboard to create a sticky surface for the leaves and flowers to adhere!

Wax resist painting is a super simple and fun activity to do with children.🔸▫️⁣
For today’s activity I used a white wax crayon to draw different shapes on the paper. When painting over the drawings with watercolours, the paint will run off the bits created with wax crayon and the shapes will magically appear. 🔸⁣ Such a great way to explore colours and shapes with little ones. ◽️⁣
