Day 2 of our Broomwood Holiday Camp and it’s been full of energy and smiles 🌼
From music and baking to games and sport, there’s been something for everyone. Today’s highlight was a fantastic Easter egg hunt, with the children working together brilliantly to make sure everyone found an equal share 🐣🍫
Plenty more fun still to come this week…

We had so many amazing costumes and photos from our Pre-Prep World Book Day that we just had to share a few more! 📚✨
Huge thanks to all our parents for helping bring these brilliant book-inspired ideas to life - what a parade you made!
We hope you also managed to catch the reel featuring our teachers, led by Head, Mrs Mackay, who always go the extra mile on World Book Day - this year as the crayons from ‘The Day the Crayons Quit!’ We’d love to hear your ideas for next year – we’ve had fun dressing up as Where’s Wally? and the Dalmatians with Cruella in the past…

Some of our lucky Pre-Prep pupils had the chance to enjoy a fantastic Gootopia Slime workshop at Broomwood on Friday after school
Everyone had a brilliant time making their own slime and exploring the giant slime!
Each pupil left with the 2 pots of slime, which we hear kept them very busy over the weekend! 🧪✨
A big thank you to for making this fun experience possible. 💚

Open Morning – Friday 13th March, 9am.
We’d love to welcome parents to Broomwood Pre-Prep’s Open Morning on Friday 13th March. It’s a great chance to meet the Head, Mrs Mackay, and spend some time with pupils and staff, seeing the school in action.
From our Early Years, where learning is all about play and exploring outdoors in our lovely grounds, through to the older years at Broomwood Boys and Broomwood Girls, children are encouraged, challenged and supported in lots of different ways - whether that’s academically, through sport, art, drama, music, or other extra-curricular activities.
As a multi award-winning school, our pupils go on to achieve excellent 11+ and 13+ outcomes, but what we really love seeing is how much they enjoy learning and trying new things along the way.
We very much look forward to welcoming you so you can experience the friendly, supportive Broomwood family feel and see first-hand what makes life at Broomwood so special.

Our topic this term is fictional and real superheroes. To kick things off, we welcomed a visit from vet Mrs Tulloch - who also brought along her pet hamster, Blueberry 🐹
The children asked such thoughtful questions and were inspired to bring new energy and detail to the role-play vet surgeries that had been set up in every classroom. We also explored hibernating animals, learning which creatures sleep through the winter and why.
Next week we will continue our theme and are looking forward to a visit to Tooting Fire Station to meet more real life superheroes.

We were delighted to welcome Educatus Explorer to Broomwood and are so grateful for their thoughtful blog and Instagram post reviews showcasing our school. 🌟
Here are some highlights they shared:
“The children were eloquent, polite, and proud of their school.” ……. “All the pupils we met greeted us happily and were only too pleased to tell us about what they were learning.”
“The staff were also extremely welcoming and clearly shared the same enthusiasm for their school.”
“For a London school, there were excellent outdoor spaces available for the children at each site including astroturf courts, an outdoor amphitheatre, adventure playgrounds and a mud kitchen.”
And a line that captures the essence of life at Broomwood:
“Confident pupils, inspiring leadership and a thoughtful balance of academic challenge and wellbeing.”
With the term finished and the school enjoying the holiday break, we’re so proud of our pupils, staff, and community - and thrilled to see Broomwood’s warm, welcoming environment, fantastic teaching, and engaging learning spaces celebrated so widely.
Wishing everyone a joyful holiday season and a happy New Year! ❄️🎄
