Last Friday, our Broadhurst Summer Fayre brought together our children, families, staff and friends for a fantastic afternoon of celebration.

From the live band and barbecue to face painting and the children’s favourite entertainer, it was a joyful occasion that perfectly captured the warmth of our school community.

Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the day so special. We wish all our families a happy, restful summer and look forward to welcoming everyone back in September for another exciting year at Broadhurst!

What a wonderful way to celebrate the end of the term! ☀️🎶

Our Little Learners and Nursery children delighted their families with very special Summer Concerts, proudly performing the songs and rhymes they have been learning throughout the year.

This week, our Pre-Reception children took to the stage for their end-of-year concerts and graduation celebration - and they couldn’t have made us prouder. From confident singing to beaming smiles as they collected their certificates, it was a beautiful moment marking how far they’ve come this year.

What a wonderful Sports Day at Broadhurst! ☀️ Our children spent the day outdoors, taking part in races and energetic activities, with proud parents cheering them on every step of the way. The day was topped off perfectly with magic tricks, jokes and songs from Mr Shakabula, the perfect end to a brilliant day.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, grandads and father figures in the Broadhurst School community. This week, our children couldn’t wait to share the surprises they had been busily preparing for you, and seeing your faces light up made it all the more special. We hope you have a wonderful day!

Sports Day preparations are well underway! The children have been busy practising their moves, developing their coordination and having lots of fun as they get ready for the big event.

Our after school clubs offer something for every child, from ballet and Spanish to a whole range of activities that nurture new skills and interests. A firm favourite is Tarka, where the children develop coordination, strength and endurance, all while building social skills and growing in confidence. These early experiences lay foundations that reach far beyond the nursery years, supporting children as they move on to school and helping them approach new challenges with curiosity and self belief.

This week at Broadhurst, the children have continued their discovery of mini beasts and turned their attention to the world of sea creatures. They have enjoyed learning about the insects that live all around us, making their own bee cards, practising sequencing with snails and discovering symmetry by drawing butterflies.

From the garden to the ocean, there has been plenty of curiosity, creativity and careful observation along the way.

Our Broadhurst children had a wonderful day exploring Hampstead Heath as part of their Mini Beast topic! 🐞

The children became young nature detectives, searching for bugs, taking part in pond dipping, and discovering the fascinating lifecycles of the insects that call the Heath home. From tiny creatures hiding under logs to pond dwellers beneath the water's surface, there was so much to explore and learn.

Blooming creativity at Broadhurst School 🌸

To celebrate the Chelsea Flower Show, our talented children transformed art and craft materials into beautiful handmade flowers, painting, creating, and letting their imaginations blossom. From colourful petals to unique floral masterpieces, every creation was full of joy and springtime spirit.
