Ben Devine - Optimax A little about myself and how I came to be a Forex Trader. I served in the Parachute Regiment in both Iraq & Afghanistan.

This is where I realised I needed to learn skills that would mean I could earn more than being a soldier. I left the Army 10 years ago to be a close protection officer. While this was similar work to being a soldier, most of my time was spent in my quarters which allowed me to study price action trading in fine detail. Once I moved from studying to trading, I was truly addicted. I knew this is what I wanted to do for a living. I studied forex trading every minute of the day, for three years solid. And after exhausting YouTube and free internet learning sites, I found a mentor with real miles in the game and applied this knowledge. Eventually, I started to reap the rewards. I was now earning more than my private security wage which itself wasn’t to be sniffed at. It was time to move on, and I set up Optimax Trading Signals LTD. The military taught me the discipline and consistency that successful trading needs. My background also helped me handle the everyday stresses that come with the volatility of the market.
