GCSE Results Day 2026 π
Another very proud day for everyone at The CatchUp Academy.
It's been fantastic to hear about the number of top grades achieved by students we've supported this year. But some of the results I'm most proud of won't necessarily be the highest grades on the page.
We've heard from so many young people who have achieved strong passes in subjects where, when we first started working with them, the predicted outcome was considerably lower.
For some, simply getting to this point has been an achievement in itself.
Many of the young people we support have experienced disrupted education, SEND or SEMH needs, emotionally based school avoidance, exclusion, medical needs or other circumstances that have meant their educational journey hasn't always been straightforward.
That's why a grade can never tell the whole story.
Behind some of those results are months of rebuilding confidence, re-engaging with learning, overcoming setbacks and working alongside a tutor who continued to believe in what that young person could achieve.
So whether you've achieved the very highest grades, exceeded your predicted grades, secured the passes you needed for your next step, or simply achieved something that once felt out of reach β you should be incredibly proud of yourself.
Your hard work, commitment and resilience got you here. π
And to our tutors who have supported, encouraged and believed in their students throughout the journey β thank you. These are the days that remind us why the work we do matters.
Congratulations to the GCSE Class of 2026. π
Whatever comes next, you've earned the right to be proud of how far you've come.
