Manor House Day Care is proud to again be donating to the Metropolitan Police's Christmas Tree Appeal in 2023.

The Met Christmas Tree Appeal enables people to donate presents online and bring joy to disadvantaged children across London, with all 32 boroughs taking part in the appeal 🎄

Every child deserves a special Christmas, and your donation can make all the difference. Together, we can ensure that every child feels the magic, and your generosity can turn this festive period into a memorable one for those who need it most.

As a community focussed local business, we have been looking at ways in which we can add value to our offering and support the community as the cost of living crisis begins to bite. From personal experience, we are all too familiar with the fact that winter coats often involve a significant outlay for families, often for a matter of months’ wear.

To that end, we would like to relaunch our initiative as winter approaches, where families are able to donate coats that their children have outgrown. It is our hope then, that Manor House Day Care will be able to provide a warm coat for those children who need them this winter.

Clearly this only works with buy-in from our families, and it goes without saying that we don’t expect everyone to have coats that available to donate immediately. We have a number of coats left over from last year and we hope that this is something we can build gradually across the winter months, and would invite all of our families to participate if able.

So if you have coats that already do not fit, we ask humbly that you give consideration to donating them to this initiative. All coats can be dropped at the office at Manor House Day Care in the library.

On the flip side of this, if you are in need of a new coat for your child(ren), please do get in touch. We will be setting the coats up in a room at the top of the library from next week and you are more than welcome to come in and look/pick one. This can be done in a totally private/confidential way. Please email [email protected] with the subject: Coats and we can arrange a convenient time.

Pre-School graduation! What an emotional afternoon! Well done to all of our children and staff involved. Thank you to all of our wonderful parents and carers for joining us, it’s been an absolute pleasure to have your children with us!
