🏏✨ Year 5 & 6 Girls Cricket Tournament ✨🏏

We enjoyed a fantastic day of cricket with our Year 5 and 6 girls, with all schools competing with great determination and teamwork. It was wonderful to see the players growing in confidence throughout the day, learning new skills, supporting one another and embracing the spirit of the game.

The tournament came down to a nail-biting final round between Park Hill Junior School and Royal Russell School. With just TWO RUNS separating them, it couldn't have been closer!!
🥇Royal Russell: 70
🥈Park Hill Juniors: 68
Both teams qualify for the Surrey county finals!

Congratulations to all of the teams for their effort, resilience and sportsmanship. The girls should be proud of the way they represented their schools and the progress they made over the course of the tournament.

A huge thank you to Addiscombe Cricket Club for hosting. We are also very grateful to Ella, Lucia and Josh from Old Wilsonian’s CC for giving up their time to umpire the matches.

🌟🏏 A wonderful celebration of girls’ cricket and a reminder that sport is all about participation, learning and enjoying the game.

What an ACE day of tennis at our LTA Festival for Year 3 & 4 students at 🎾☀️
This is our local pathway event to the finals at Gunnersbury Park.

It was amazing to see so much energy, enthusiasm, and focus on display throughout the festival. The students showed brilliant effort and determination to develop their tennis skills. But most importantly everyone had fun together!

A huge well done to our Sports Leaders, who ran each activity station with confidence, positivity, and professionalism. They were excellent role models and helped make the event such a success 👏

There were also important networking opportunities between our schools and Richard from the along with who delivers FREE LTA teacher training within YOUR SCHOOL setting, also giving you the chance to attain a £250 voucher for tennis equipment.

Thank you to everyone involved for creating such a memorable and inspiring day of sport!

Dance 🕺🏻💃 like nobody’s watching… and they really did!
What an incredible day of dance 🪩 with 80 Year 3 & Year 4 students from 8 primary schools, led by the amazing dance leaders from Shirley High School Performing Arts College.
There was so much fun, learning, co-creation and teamwork throughout the day. It was fantastic to see the connection between primary and secondary students, and their shared passion and excitement for dance.
We also loved seeing both students and staff make the most of our Play. Chill. Heal. Warm-Up & Recovery Zone — promoting recovery, injury prevention, and physical & mental wellbeing.
A huge thank you to everyone who attended, and especially to the Shirley High dance leaders and Performing Arts department for making it all happen 🙌
More dance festivals coming soon… stay tuned! 🎶✨

There’s no greater pleasure than seeing exciting projects come together! 🙌

Following our Play. Chill. Heal. Activity & Recovery Sports Leadership Training before Easter, we were thrilled to deliver a fun-filled Multi-Skills & Recovery Festival 💫

50 amazing pupils from 5 different primary schools joined us for an unforgettable morning! 🌟 Our energetic 6- and 7-year-olds developed their fundamental movement skills of agility, balance, and coordination while also exploring the importance of both physical and mental rest and recovery 🧠💪

The energy was incredible—two hours of nonstop enthusiasm, joy, dedication, and perseverance! 🔥

A huge congratulations to our outstanding Sports Leaders 👏 Your performance truly made the event special.
Thank you to all the schools for attending, and a massive shoutout to Park Hill Junior School for hosting 🏫

What a better way to round off the Spring term than with our competition!

There was a fantastic competitive spirit on display from all the teams that entered, with some schools clearly putting in the work—showcasing well-rehearsed offensive plays that really paid off on the field. 🏈

For us, this event is an opportunity to grow the game locally and we were delighted to have the support of Johnathon to support us with this aim 👏

After an exciting final with some incredible running plays
The Minster were victorious🥇with in🥈place
Congratulations to and Forestdale for being part of a fantastic morning of sport 👏🏼

Exciting to see the future of the game developing right here! 👊🏼

When young people are given a voice and the chance to co-design and co-deliver, something amazing happens… they don’t just take part — they take ownership. 💥

Education becomes more engaging, more inclusive, and way more meaningful — all while building confidence and real-life skills. 🙌

As part of our Play. Chill. Heal. project, we trained a fantastic group of pupils at Park Hill Junior School as Activity & Recovery Sports Leaders. 🏃‍♂️💙

These incredible young people explored the power of rest and recovery, then got creative designing their own activities to support, inspire and educate younger pupils. 🌱

And WOW… what an explosion of ideas, creativity, teamwork and collaboration! 🎉

We are SO excited to see our leaders in action very soon— watch this space 👀✨
