Happy to introduce the first day of the summer term of THE SEASONS ART CLASS ORPINGTON!

Welcome and Welcome Back!!!

Today in class:

Students dove into the world of anti-gravity plates, inspired by Cornelia Konrads.
The room buzzed with charcoal dust and quiet focus as two parallel journeys unfolded:

Beginners explored the basics—ellipses, tone, and directional mark-making—learning to see and shade like artists.
Returners pushed further, fine-tuning light logic, precision shadows, and complex form.

Students faced the different challenge: floating plates, one light source, infinite possibilities.
It was a day of shared discovery, surprising results, and skill elevation—for every level.

We are looking forward to the next drawing day!
