Week 7 – Echoes of Antiquity

Week 3 – The Scribble Hog
A fun and playful project inspired by the expressive style of Catherine Rayner. Using coloured pencils in loose, scribbly strokes, students bring a wild and wiry warthog to life full of personality and charm. 🐗

Week 1 – Travel Poster
We start the term with a bold Art Deco travel poster inspired by AM Cassandre. Students create a dramatic cruise liner using coloured pencil, strong shapes, and stylised perspective — a perfect warm-up for precision, shading, and graphic design. ✨

🎨 Art Class – Week 12: Acrylics & The Matterhorn in Autumn
Last week we painted a bold, modern version of the Matterhorn—using flat brushes and palette knives to create sharp rocks, glowing autumn colours, and a dramatic sky. A fun session full of texture, contrast, and confident mark-making. So proud of everyone’s progress! 🌄✨
We even used also our spare time to make a beautiful little Christmas card in acrylics! Such a fun, creative session. 🌄✨🎄
