ISRO LUANCH SHEADULE: 12 Jan 2026, 10:18:30 IST
MISSION: PSLV-C62 / EOS N1
VEHICLE: PSLV - DL Configuration (two solid strap-on motors)
PAYLOADS: EOS-N1 Satellite + 15 Collaborator Deployments.
DESTINATION: Sun-Synchronous Orbit.
Launch History: Following the recent but infrequent but critical failure of the PSLV-C61/EOS-09 launch mission on 18 May 2025, and upon completion of investigations, the PSLV (Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle) launch program resumes and continues operations under joint stewardship of ISRO and its commercial arm, NewSpace India Limited (NSIL).
PAYLOAD CONFIGURATION: EOS-N1 earth observation imaging satellite deployment for the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), and 15 other National and International Collaborator Deployments.
Notable experimental payloads include:
(1) Kestrel Initial Demonstrator (KID) by Europe/Spanish-based startup, Orbital Paradigm, a small-scale testing of a prototype of a re-entry vehicle to be released from PS-stage4 on reentry and expected to splash down in the South Pacific Ocean.
(2) AayulSAT - deployment of Bengaluru-based space startup OrbitAID Aerospace, on feasibility studies on in-orbit satellite refuelling and orbital propellant depot deployment.
