Today was day 1 of our Dulwich Summer School!

We had an amazing start to the week and to our summer holidays. It was lovely to see our students in a group setting with their peers, we usually see our students individually. Therefore as teachers, we saw the students in a different light today, interacting with their peers and learning from one another. We completed our maths and English sessions. In addition, we had our ‘what you don’t learn in school’ session, where Rebecca taught the importance of savings. The students thought about how and why we save and the benefits of doing so.

G have herself 12/20 and Rebecca have her 14/20. G was a bit harsh on herself, however now she knows where she needs to improve on her essay writing. Always striving for better!

Counting her stickers!

Our lovely reception student doing some amazing work. Learning her number bonds to 5 and 10, forming amazing numbers, single and double digit. In English she is writing full sentences with capital letters and lower case letters.
