Jaïh Betote started his passion for dance with Martial arts, and went on to learn ballet, Jazz, contemporary, tap at Tring Park performing arts school whilst also being part of Kate prince’s Zoonation company.
That led him to many ventures taking him all over the world. Being part of 9 feature movies as an actor, Dancer, choreographer,singer, and stunt man.
Multiple music videos, backing dancer for Artists, on Xfactor, Brit awards, Latin Grammys.
Commercials/adverts. Finalist on BGT and GTD with Boyband dance crew and many more with the blessing and favour of God.

Newham Projects - You Decide!!!
We have applied for some funding to run a new project in Newham - Telling Local Stories through Theatre. The Big Vote is now open, for people who live, work or learn in Newham to vote for their favourites!
Each Community Neighbourhood has £200,000 on average to spend on local improvements.

Debôrah Godchaser is a creative and performer with years of experience in a variety of styles from Musical Theatre, Jazz, Afro, Hiphop and Contemporary. With a passion for movement and expression, she has performed in numerous productions for stage and film, one of them including The Lion King West End Production in London and events across the globe. Debôrah has a passion for teaching students of all ages and levels in helping them discover their own unique style and confidence expressed through the art of dance.

We have some exciting news….!
Amplified Arts Academy (AMP) are running 4-day performing arts holiday camp at the Hippodrome in partnership with for Spring BACE Holidays 2023. The Camp will feature fun and creative sessions in acting, dance, vocals and songwriting for young people aged 12-16.

If you live in the borough of Barnet and your child receives benefits-based free school meals, you are eligible for a FREE space – the booking link is in our bio

This weekend we have a Tanaka Bingwa joining us as to teach Academy Dance. Make sure you come ready to sweat!!
Tanaka’s Bio:
Born and raised in Zimbabwe, Tanaka Bingwa migrated to the UK at the age of 11. It was at the University of East London that he received most of his training in up to 12 different dance styles including: Hip Hop, contemporary and capoeira to name a few. He graduated with first class honours and went on to perform, teach and choreograph on platforms such as the BBC, The Greatest Dancer and Barbican.
Some of his credits include renowned artists such as ‘Anne-Marrie’, ‘Nile Rodgers’, ‘GHETTS’, ‘Alicai Harley’ and ‘Boy Better Know’. Furthermore, Tanaka has worked with hip hop theatre company, Spoken Movement and is a member of contemporary dance company, B-Hybrid Dance. He is also an active member of hip-hop theatre company, Boy Blue Entertainment.
Tanaka is a cast member of the 5*, multiple award nominated production, ‘Blak Whyte Gray’ which he toured internationally and also multiple award winning production, REDD. He has choreographed and done movement direction with several universities and theatre companies too. Bingwa has aspirations of maintaining a career and branching out to different sectors of dance and theatre and affecting real social change through his art and one day becoming a university lecturer in Dance.

Excited to welcome Natasha Cox this weekend as our guest teacher for Academy Dance!

Natasha professionally trained in Jazz dance and musical theatre at Millennium Performing
Arts. She has performed in the West End, and in regional theatres and has toured around the UK in various productions. She received a Laurence Olivier award for Best Performance
in a Supporting Role in a musical for Jerry Springer the Opera and continues to perform and
choreograph around the UK.
Some of Natasha’s credits and roles include Assistant Creative Director, Dystopia to Utopia:
reimagining our future at East Bank; Director, Dido Through the Looking Glass;
Choreographer and lead performer Snow Queen; Choreographer and performer, UK Tour of
Hobson’s Choice; Creative and Learning Manager, Selladoor Worldwide; Tour Coordinator,
Watoto Children’s Choir; Event Coordinator, East Thames Group; Choreographer and
Assistant Director, Hackney Empire (Fun Song Factory); and Theatre Royal Stratford East
(Sleeping Beauty). Natasha has produced many events including the annual International
Women’s Day event Breaking the Glass Ceiling, I Love Music, Connections and youth
development programme, Inspire 2 Motiv8.
We can’t wait!
