Wool and tyres

Children loved engaging in this open ended loose parts activity. Wrapping wool on tyres required a lot of physical and problem solving skills. It sparked creative conversations about making spider webs, a nest and wrapping presents.

Pincer grip activity

This fun tracing activity helps children practice writing without feeling overwhelmed. Here we are tracing shapes, letters or numbers with ear buds dipped in water. Using a small pencil or mark making implement prompts children to use the correct pincer grip rather than use the whole hand grip.

Easter Egg Decoration!

A simple idea that provides a variety of learning opportunities. The children aged 2 to 4 spent 45 mins doing this activity. They peeled stickers and aligned them appropriately to the curves and slants. This activity enables children to work on fine motor skills, hand and eye coordination, shape awareness, attention and concentration.
