I am offering short-term, daytime zoom sessions for individuals or small groups of children who are self-isolating at home. I offer tailor-made, engaging and enjoyable sessions in maths, English or any curriculum area. I can also support them in their school work.

Unfortunately many families are finding children are having to stay home to isolate due to positive Covid cases in their family or school bubbles.

If your child is stuck at home and you have little time to support their homeschooling, I can do just that.

I offer short term, tailor made zoom morning sessions in Maths and/or English which have already proved very successful. I can also offer personalised small group sessions via zoom. Should you find yourself in this situation please get in touch!

Word problems can sometimes be very overwhelming for children, there are often many different steps to go through before being able to come up with an answer.

The primary maths curriculum now places a large emphasis on reasoning and problem solving. It’s important to acknowledge that there’s not one standard way of approaching maths problems and to give children a ‘toolbox’ of approaches they can choose from...

If your child needs some support in Maths (or English) I am available for 1:1 or small group tutoring for the new term.

A handy cheat for the 9x tables. Whilst it is really important for children to understand the concepts behind multiplication, it is essential that they learn to recall x table facts - and we all like a shortcut!

Everyone learns in different ways. That's why tutoring is so beneficial - all of my lessons are individually tailored to each child's learning style, ability and interests.
This is a great resource for visual learners to remember this tricky homophone. And I'm sure there are some adults out there who would find it useful too! 😉
