The PTA has raised an incredible total of £19,070 during the 2025/2026 academic year!

This amazing achievement has only been possible thanks to the dedication and hard work of our wonderful volunteers, who made every event happen and to our fantastic Garfield community for their continued support!

While the majority of these funds have been raised for the ongoing playground improvement project, the PTA has also been able to support so much more throughout the year. Every child received a Christmas gift, the Year 6 leavers’ party was funded, the Great Garfield Bake Off winners celebrated with their very own disco and each class teacher has been given £100 to spend at the start of the autumn term 2026 on valuable resources for their pupils.

All of this has been achieved while still organising a range of fun and engaging events for children and families to enjoy together! 🥳

We wish everyone a wonderful summer holiday and look forward to seeing you all back in September!

Thank you to everyone who has supported, volunteered and taken part - we couldn’t have done it without you!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came to Garfield’s Summer Fair and to all our incredible volunteers who helped make it happen! ☀️🎉

From the BBQ and live music to the bouncy castle, sumo wrestling and Soak the Teacher! 💦 - it was amazing to see our whole community coming together and having so much fun!

We’re thrilled to share that together we raised an incredible £5,340! 🎉👏

The PTA continues to support the school in many meaningful ways. Our main fundraising focus remains the ongoing playground development project, which includes an exciting new play frame and improved surfacing. Please do take a look at the attached example images to see what we are working towards.

We couldn’t do it without you - thank you for your continued support!

🪩 Nursery Disco Party! 🪩

Our amazing Nursery children won the Great Garfield Bake Off and now it’s time to celebrate!! 🥳

To say a big THANK YOU for all your efforts, the PTA is hosting a special Disco Party 💃🕺

📅 Monday 13th July
⏰ 3:30 to 4:30pm
📍 School Main Hall

✨ Please RSVP via the Google Form sent on WhatsApp and Email (whether you are attending or not) - more details are included there!

A few more details for Nursery parents:
👨‍👩‍👧 You’re very welcome to join your child for the disco!
⏳ If you can’t attend, please collect your child from the Main Hall by 4:30pm.
🏡 Children attending After School Club will be taken to the cabin after the disco.

And the grand total raised at our Summer Fair is… £5,340! 🎉✨

What an incredible day it was! ☀️

Even with the heat and so many other local events happening, it was amazing to see so many of you come along to support our school!

Thank you for all the time, energy and smiles you brought - it truly made the day so special! Special thanks to the brave teachers who volunteered to be completely soaked!! 💦

🍰 THE GREAT GARFIELD BAKE OFF - FINAL RESULTS! 🧁

What an incredible year it’s been! Across 8 fantastic cake sales, we’ve raised an amazing total of £3,259.70 🎉👏

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who baked, donated, bought, and supported - we couldn’t have done it without you! 💛

And now for the moment we’ve all been waiting for…

🥇 Nursery are our overall winners! 🥇

With an outstanding total, they’ve taken the crown and will enjoy a well deserved prize 🎉 (currently being decided with the Early Years team!)

Well done to every year group who took part! The effort, creativity and enthusiasm have been incredible throughout!

🍰 YEAR 6 CAKE SALE - FRIDAY 19 JUNE! 🍰

This is it… the LAST cake sale of the Great Garfield Bake Off competition! 👀🔥

It’s Year 6’s turn to take on the challenge! Can they beat the current leaders and be crowned champions?

We’d love your support! Nut-free cakes and treats (homemade or shop-bought) are very welcome from all our amazing parent volunteers 🧁☺️
