As the weather is changing, we have been discussing the different types of weather we may see outside. We have discovered that the weather outside has changed from being cold and raining to hot and sunny. This means we will now be exploring and learning more in the garden. Today the children enjoyed eating ice lolly’s in the garden and helping their teacher to build their new summer playhouse, developing their gross motor skills and their making relationship skills by taking turns pushing and screwing red plastic bolts in place so that the playhouse would stay together. They were very excited to help with the building and they were able to identify the colours of the house and they took it in turns knocking on the door and entering.

Today at Tafii, the children have been getting creative with hand printing and discussing what happens when you mix two different colours together. In this activity we mixed many colours together to make brown.
