After much discussion in recent months about the large number of schools that SIMS have been losing, it was a pleasant surprise to receive news this week that the Company had won a multi academy trust contract.

Having missed the morning’s activities, after a pleasant lunch the afternoon sessions kicked-off with a presentation from James Richardson, West Sussex’s MIS Programme Manager. He spoke of the challenges of rolling out a new MIS to 203 schools in only 10 months, after a year of product testing.

Veracross, is something of a success story in the U.S. and a relatively recent market entrant into the UK, having acquired Firefly and Digistorm. They’re inviting anyone interested in learning more about them to attend their CONNECT annual conference, which will run online from July 17-28.
