It’s likely that, as an entrepreneur, you will sometimes be faced with the doubts of others around you.
They will tell you that you are taking a risk. They will not understand your choice of leaving a stable job. They will worry about what will happen to you if you fail.
Most of the time, this will come from people who love you and care about you. They mean well by it – they’re just scared for you.
At the same time, it’s crucial for your success to be able to stay confident in your project and committed to working towards your goals, even when others tell you that you’ve made the wrong choice.
There are 3 capabilities you can build to support yourself to stay focused and motivated even when others doubt you and your project;
- A strong sense of identity and a deep understanding of how your identity relates to your ambitions.
- A list of what it is that drives you and motivates you.
- Confidence in yourself and your ability to achieve your goals.
Have you been facing doubts from others around your entrepreneur projects? What have been your methods for overcoming them?

Identifying your ideal client is the first step towards a marketing and sales strategy which will bring you results.
It’s also the starting point for building an impactful product strategy which will drive demand.
Essentially, identifying your ideal client will tell you whom to tailor your offering and messaging for, thus empowering you to create something truly personal which will speak to your audience in a profound way.
The 5 questions in this post will support you to identify (or confirm) who your ideal client is.
If you find this process useful, save the post so you can come back to it later. And for more entrepreneurial tips, follow !

Have you heard of the LEGO® Serious Play methodology? It’s a group problem-solving process which encourages innovation by tapping into the organisation’s hidden expertise.
During a LEGO® Serious Play session, you solve challenges and make strategic decisions by… building 3D models with LEGO®. While it may sound a little bit unusual, it’s a proven method which LEGO® themselves used to bring their company up to new heights.
This is, hands down, one of our favourite ways to work on our businesses, particularly on things like product strategy. With this method, we’ve noticed that our decisions come faster and with much more ease than when we used more traditional methods.
The added bonus is that because the solutions are created by the whole team, you get to leverage everyone’s knowledge, and you receive a much higher commitment from everyone involved.
This photo is from a product strategy meeting – the build you see is the final outcome of our session: it’s what emerged once everyone’s creations came together, and it represents the team’s vision for the company’s ideal product.
We really love this method – it’s effective, and it’s a lot of fun!

One of the gifts of entrepreneurship is being able to choose where you work from.
You can turn this to your advantage by working from places that energise you,
Giving yourself the opportunity to travel even if you have work to do,
Thus bringing more pleasure into your experience of entrepreneurship.
Here’s an inspiring message from Personal Suns Co-Founder Polina Yordanova, who just went to Greece, which is one of her absolute favourite places in the world.
From there, she continued working on all her companies and joined Teams meetings from the private swimming pool of her hotel.
If you could work from anywhere in the world, what place would you choose?

Did you know that you can use symbols to support your journey to success?
Staying connected to your goals and vision is a great way to stay motivated and disciplined in all areas of your life.
For instance, regularly reminding yourself of the success you are working to build through your business can support you to stay on track.
One way to do this is to create a symbol, using the method in this post.
The painted stone on the first photo is our co-founder Sandra’s representation for her ideal social life.
For Sandra, finding a good friend is like finding a 4-leaf clover.
It requires being open and observant, to give yourself the opportunity to find these special, rare people that will be your tribe.
The clover also embodies the values Sandra associates with her ideal social life.
It looks like 4 hearts coming together in a circle, showing closeness and support.
It’s also a plant, which symbolises the growth opportunities from being around each-other.
The best part is - you can create symbols using anything and everything that inspires you – which is also a way to unleash your creativity!
Give it a try and share your symbols with us in the comments.

Do you use storytelling in your business life?
It’s a great method for connecting with your clients, your collaborators and even yourself.
Story cubes are a fun way to leverage the power of story telling in business. You can use them by yourself or with your team to start a creative discussion around an important topic.
For instance, with these story cubes on the picture, we built our company vision for the next 3 years.
We’d like to invite you to give it a try – if you imagine that your vision of entrepreneurial success is in these cubes as well, what story is coming through to you?
