What is it for you?

The ugliest, most shameful thing you try to hide from everyone?

Is it your body? Your financial situation? Your anxiety? Your sexual fantasies? Binge eating? Compulsive shopping? Jealousy? Rage? Need to control?

We all have a side of ourselves that we wish no one would know about. If only it had gone away, everything would have been different.

For me, it used to be my credit card debt. I went into panic anytime I had to deal with it. It would only grow no matter how hard I tried to fix it. I felt like I was drowning.

Until I dared to look at it with curiosity and without judgment and investigate: ‘Why do I have the habit of getting into more and more debt?’

What I found out shook me. My unconscious mind was using this ever-growing debt to fulfil my need for freedom.

I had so many expansive desires, but I didn’t feel safe or worthy to go after them openly and with full conviction. Yet, that didn’t make them disappear.

And because they were so strong, my ego-mind found a way of getting me what I desired - only very secretive, shameful and costing me interest.

Whenever we experience shame, we are invited back into wholeness.

I was called to finally embrace my desire for freedom and expansion.

Shame is just a signal of internal rejection. It leads us to the part of us that needs to be seen, loved and accepted,

Unless we consciously and lovingly examine these shunned and rejected parts, we will remain stuck in these repeating, sabotaging patterns.

Integrating our parts is the quickest way to heal and expand into our highest potential.

Because, in the end, everything belongs in your essence. It all comes from one
source.

Let's share some fun facts about ourselves. I'll start!

🌲 I grew up living in a forest (literally) in Poland, but I'm definitely a big-city girl.

💂‍♀️ I spent the majority of my adult life living in London, UK, where I worked in the non-profit and arts sector.

👩‍🎓 I have a master's degree in Marketing and Fundraising, which I completed right at the peak of my Saturn return when I decided to become a healer instead.

✈ I feel the most abroad (must be my Piscies IC), and I have travelled through Europe, Asia, and North and South America.

💃 I've spent the last year living in the south of Spain, and I'm making moves to relocate there "permanently" by the end of this year.

💍 I have been married for two years to the most generous, caring, thoughtful, and patient man I've ever met. We had known each other for 8+ years and even shared three apartments before we started dating.

🧘‍♀️ I've been practising Tibetan Buddhism and meditation for the past 16 years and counting. I am deeply spiritual and apply this outlook in my coaching.

👩‍🎨 I "discovered" I wanted to become a coach in 2020 while taking an oil painting course. I believe our desires and purpose are another facet of our life force and creative expression.

🌹 I've been in personal development for almost 8 years, mainly focused on healing my feminine expression. It is the basis of all my coaching programmes.

🔮 You might have already guessed I'm all kinds of woo-woo. If you choose to work with me, I will definitely refer to your birth chart.

I truly think that the fact that we 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 use social media now to connect with our audience or attract clients is an edge that we, as coaches, healers, and conscious leaders, 𝙢𝙪𝙨𝙩 lean into.

In the past, the spotlight was available to only the few chosen ones.

The rest of us lived under a spell that we must be 𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘥 or 𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘦𝘥 to take up this space and share our Truth.

We were raised to believe we need someone’s permission to speak. 🙋

Now that the barriers are down, and everyone and their dog or cat can take up this space, the question is no longer “can I?” but “will I”? 🔥

No more, “Can I share?” but “How loud can I get”? 📣

And that makes a lot of us deeply uncomfortable.

❤️‍🔥 If no one gives us permission or approval, we must learn to self-source it.

❤️‍🔥 If no one tells us if we’re good enough, we need to trust that our Truth is valuable and transformational.

❤️‍🔥 If no one grades us or tells us what to improve, we need to be honest with ourselves and reveal all that we’ve been trying to keep hidden.

And, between us, I live for it.

Because that’s exactly how we become fully expressed in every area of our life. And I bet you that if you’re hiding on social media, you’re hiding in other areas of your life, too.

And hiding is surviving. Not thriving.

*A quick word on the “need to use social media” bit. You don’t “need” anything. Social media is just the cheapest available option. You can still drop leaflets, do cold pitch collaborations, hire a billboard, post an ad in a newspaper, or speak on the breakfast telly. You can even wait for a lost traveller to seek guidance in your forest hut. These options are still available, depending on your current budget and the business systems in place. However, most people I work with use socials, and using them consciously can be a tool for accessing our Truth, and I think that's beautiful.

The hard truth is that if manifesting feels like a draining job, you've fallen prey to your ego (aka lesser mind, survival brain). Instead of following your heart's desires, you're chasing your tail.

You'll recognize that your ego is in the driver's seat of your manifestation when you feel stuck in a hamster wheel. You're constantly busy affirming and visualizing, doing all the things, yet you feel like you're chasing a carrot that's always just out of reach. There's a growing sense of urgency, disappointment, or resignation.

You struggle to maintain high vibes, so your ego cracks the whip, convincing you it's all your fault because you're not healed enough, not good enough, and should do more mindset work. (By the way, this is called "gaslighting.")

All of this makes your ego happy. It keeps you busy spinning your wheels, hoping that a miracle will happen one day—an angel will descend from heaven and present you with the spouse or paycheck you desire.

This dangling carrot is distracting enough that you're not actually present and conscious in the moment NOW. You're caught up in the illusion, unable to take full responsibility for creating what you desire (taking aligned action) or attuning to the solution that Life (aka God, higher self, the Universe) already has in store for you (surrendering the outcomes).

Here's how to break free from this vicious cycle.

In simple words... stop paddling.

Get present.

Ask yourself: Am I chasing a need or a desire? You'll know the difference because a need feels urgent in your body; your survival depends on your needs. A desire has more of a "wouldn't it be fun if..." feel.

It's crucial to know the difference, although both are important. One might argue that needs are even more so than desires. Or at least we should tackle them first.

Get whole and responsible.

Address the needs that came up during your self-inquiry. Take responsibility for the lack of love, safety, or confidence that makes you chase your manifestations with urgency.

The easiest way to understand what you've been lacking is to complete this sentence: "If I get X [insert what you've been trying to manifest], then I will be or experience Y [the need you ought to address]."

It might sound like a good idea to wait for money in your bank account to feel safe, but it's a sham. It won't work anyway because you say you want money, but in reality, you want to be seen or respected. It's like ordering a burger and hoping the waiter will bring you sushi.

Surrender and listen to Life.

After you've taken responsibility for your needs, manifestation starts feeling like a walk in the park. There's no urgency, no pressure, no resignation. You live your life and listen for cues from the universe to go here or do that, bringing you closer to where you want to be. It becomes a co-creative process, where you fully trust that you're guided to where you want to be.

It's like a cosmic scavenger hunt.

You must listen and be brave enough to say "yes" when the Universe invites you to level up. But that's a story for another post.

You struggle to trust yourself...
..to commit to that coaching container or investment in your business...to be intentional about your goals and take aligned daily action towards them...to go all in on your vision and finally release the habits and patterns that keep you stuck in your current circumstances.

Because there’s a part of you that believes you aren’t trustworthy.

A part of you that remembers all the broken promises to yourself.

A part of you that still feels ashamed about that “wrong” decision you made.

Maybe you even got exactly what you wanted from life at some point, but then, due to a mistake, you lost it.

All of these experiences remind you, “I’m untrustworthy”.

So when every coach tells you, “You have to trust yourself to make your goals a reality,” you may wonder, “ What’s the point of even trying? I’m not going to succeed anyway.”

Perhaps you’ve tried to “fake it until you make it”, but it only makes you feel awkward, like an impostor.

That’s because you’re trying to dress up all the sense of inadequacy you experience into something that’s not your embodied experience.

Well, my love, it’s time to repair that relationship with yourself and remind yourself that you’re worthy of love and trust.

It’s time to release and forgive yourself for all this shame, doubt and disappointment you’re carrying around about your “past mistakes” and take responsibility for the life you want to create.

Not from guilt but from a place of self-acceptance and complete worthiness.

Knowing that despite your past “mistakes”, you can learn to make new choices and are worthy of trusting yourself anew.

Create a clear slate to build a new, trusting, committed relationship with yourself and start creating the change you desire in your life, relationships and business.
