We spend a lot of time talking about confidence, creativity and performance skills... 🎭✨

But sometimes our students sum up BB Broadway much better than we ever could 🥹

And honestly? That’s what it’s all about 💛

🎤 Singing the songs they love
👯 Seeing their friends each week
🌟 Performing on a real theatre stage
🎭 Learning from teachers they adore

The West End training is amazing.
The performances are magical.

But the friendships, the joy and the excitement of walking through our theatre doors each week?
That’s the real magic ✨

What’s your child’s favourite thing about coming to BB Broadway?

We’d love to hear it below 👇

When people hear “kids’ drama class”, they often picture a dusty church hall and a CD player in the corner... 😅🎭

Not at BB Broadway ✨

Our students learn, rehearse and perform on the stage of a real working theatre 🎪

That means:
🎭 Learning on a real stage
⭐ Training with West End professionals
🌈 SEN-inclusive classes
🧡 Gender-neutral curriculum and language
🎪 A genuine backstage theatre environment
💫 A place where every child can shine

We’re not just teaching songs, scripts and dance routines.

We’re creating a space where children can feel confident, included and inspired every single week.

Because theatre is for everyone. And we mean everyone. 💛

When one of our nurseries messages us to say this... 🥹✨

We could talk all day about how incredible our team is, but hearing it from our community means the world 💛

At BB Broadway, it’s never just about teaching songs, dances and scripts. It’s about building confidence, creating connections and making every child feel seen, supported and celebrated 🌟

And yes... having teachers who can absolutely belt a show tune doesn’t hurt either 🎤😂

A huge shout out to Claudia for bringing so much warmth, energy and talent to every session. We’re so lucky to have you as part of the BB Broadway family 💫

Have you had a teacher who made a lasting impact on your child? We’d love to hear about them below 👇

And drop us a message if you’re looking for inclusive and progressive theatre education in your school or nursery! 📧

It feels like our feet have only just touched the ground after our May half term camps and now we’re gearing up to do it all again for 5 weeks in summer! 🤯😅🎉 💛🎭

This May we had a week packed with theatre, crafts, games, singing, dancing, new friendships and plenty of laughter. Safe to say our campers kept us busy... and hopefully went home ready for an early bedtime! 😅💤

A huge thank you to all the families who joined us. We loved seeing so many children grow in confidence, get creative and have fun over the holidays.

If May is anything to go by, this summer is going to be our best one yet. ☀️✨

Roll on summer camps! 🌟

Did your child join us in May? We’d love to hear what their favourite part was in the comments. 👇💛

A little Pride month thought from us 🌈💛

Children are learning every day what society considers “normal”.

Think about the stories children grow up with...
👑 Princess meets prince.
🏡 Mum, dad and two children.
💍 Boy meets girl.

Again and again.

When most books, films and fairy tales present the same family structure and the same types of relationships, children can unintentionally learn that other families are somehow different, unusual or less valid.

That’s why representation matters 🌈

At BB Broadway, inclusion isn’t something we think about once a year during Pride Month. It’s built into the language we use every week.

You’ll never hear us say “Ask your mum and dad.”

Instead, we’ll say:
✨ “Ask your grown-up.”
✨ “Check with your family.”
✨ “Ask the adult bringing you.”

Because not every child has a mum and a dad.
Some have two mums.
Some have two dads.
Some live with grandparents.
Some are cared for by foster carers, guardians or extended family members.

And every one of those families deserves to feel seen.

This Pride Month, we’re encouraging families to pick up a book that reflects a different family structure from their own. Not because it’s political. Not because it’s controversial.
Because it’s real life.

The more children see and celebrate different families, the more they learn that love, belonging and family come in many wonderful forms 💛

Got a favourite inclusive children’s book? We’d love your recommendations below 📚👇

Behind every child who steps onto a stage, there’s usually someone in the audience cheering the loudest 💛

The person helping them learn their lines in the kitchen.

The one sitting through every rehearsal pick-up.
The one who hears the songs on repeat in the car.

The one who reminds them to keep going when they’re nervous.

Today, we’re celebrating all the father figures who play those roles and so many more.

At BB Broadway, we know that “Dad” can mean different things to different children.

For some, it’s their dad.

For others, it’s a stepdad, grandad, uncle, foster carer, guardian or another trusted adult who shows up with love and support.

And for some children, Father’s Day can bring mixed emotions, difficult memories or feelings of loss.

That’s why we’re always mindful that no two families are the same.

The beautiful thing about theatre is that it teaches us something important: every story matters.

Every child arrives with their own story, their own family and their own people in the front row.
So this Father’s Day, we’re celebrating all those who encourage, support, champion and believe in our young performers — however they fit into a child’s life.

Thank you for the lifts, the packed bags, the endless encouragement, the audience applause and the unwavering belief that helps children shine ✨

Happy Father’s Day to all the wonderful father figures in our BB Broadway family 💛

Summer holidays: the annual challenge of finding enough activities to fill six whole weeks without remortgaging the house or hearing “what are we doing today?” before you’ve even had a sip of coffee ☕️😅

This year, we’re taking theatre outside 🌳🎭

From singing and storytelling to drama games, imaginative adventures and plenty of running around, our summer park classes are designed to give children the freedom to play, create and perform in the great outdoors.

We’ll be popping up in:
☀️ Battersea Park
☀️ Crystal Palace Park
☀️ Brockwell Park
☀️ Southwark Park
☀️ Highgate Woods

Whether you’re looking for something special to do with your little one aged 3 months–3 years 👶💛

or you’ve got an energetic 3–8 year old who loves to sing, dance, act and make new friends 🌟, we’ve got a class waiting for you.

The best bit?
The kids get a magical theatre experience.
You get fresh air, a change of scenery and a fighting chance of an early bedtime afterwards 😴🙌

A summer win for everyone, we’d say.

Who’s joining us in the park? 👇

Happy Pride Month ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

At BB Broadway, Pride month is a celebration of being exactly who you are. We believe every child deserves a space where they feel safe, accepted, celebrated and free to express themselves without fear of judgement. ✨

Whether they love to sing, dance, act, create, perform, or simply build confidence at their own pace, there is a place for them here. 🫶🏻

We know that representation matters. We know that feeling seen matters. And we know that when children are given permission to be their authentic selves, incredible things happen. 💕

Our classes are built on kindness, respect and inclusion for every child and every family. 💙

This Pride Month, and every month, we stand proudly with our LGBTQ+ community and celebrate the beautiful diversity that makes our world brighter. 🌈

Because theatre is for everyone. 🎭✨

When we say we’re inclusive, we mean it. 💚

🌈We want to create a safe space for all children to be their most authentic selves and have access to extra curricular activities.

And every child is different. They learn differently, the engage differently and their needs are different. 🫶🏻

We are passionate about understanding what each child needs to get the most from our classes and feel welcomed.

And for that we need you. ✨

🫸Clear and honest communication from carers that gives us as much detail as possible, helps our teacher understand how to give them the best possible time. 🫷

And you can feel safe in the knowledge they are being cared for, understood, seen and respected. 💕

We understand it can be daunting to communicate your child’s needs to care settings, we’ve heard many horror stories of children being denied access or left excluded from groups 🤯 so parents have felt reluctant to share information for fear of being treated differently. 😢

We see you, and we are a safe space for you and your little one, to turn up exactly as you are that day and be safe to be yourselves. 💙
