“My name is Edoardo Spinazzola and I am a Research Assistant and part-time PhD student working in the Psychosis studies department with Prof Robin Murray and Dr. Marta Di Forti. Many countries have seen changes in legislation regarding cannabis use, and given the recent new pilot scheme proposed by the mayor of London, the UK is no exception. To ensure the best outcome following these changes, studying the effects of cannabis on people's lives is of paramount importance.”

Meet Our Team
In my clinic , I see young people every week who have experienced the negative effects of cannabis on their mental health. They ask me: “ Why me Dr Marta and not my mates?”. I developed the cannabis and me study to answer to this very important questions. Only a minority comes to harm when using cannabis but this minority are the young people I care for and serve as a clinician.
