🐝✨ Last week, we had a fantastic time celebrating Bee Day across the nursery! Our children enjoyed taking part in a wide range of exciting bee-themed activities, exploring, learning, and having fun along the way. It was wonderful to see everyone so engaged as we discovered more about these amazing little pollinators and why they are so important to our world. 💛🌼

That’s why we regularly gather feedback from our staff about the training we deliver — ensuring every session is meaningful, targeted, and supports both professional growth and confidence in practice.

On Saturday 16th May, our Nursery Leadership Teams — including our Room Leaders and Deputy Room Leaders — joined us for a dedicated training day focused on their roles as leaders and mentors, alongside driving quality improvement across the nursery. 📚✨

Through fun, interactive, and reflective activities, the team explored ways to strengthen leadership skills, support their colleagues, and continue creating outstanding experiences for the children in our care. 💡🎯

We are proud to build a culture where every team member feels heard, supported, and empowered to thrive. 💛

Outdoor learning isn’t just for big kids — even our under 1s benefit from time outside. From feeling the breeze on their skin to listening to birdsong and watching leaves move, every moment helps build sensory awareness, curiosity, and early connections with the world around them.

Simple experiences like tummy time on the grass, watching clouds drift by, or exploring natural textures can support development in the most gentle, meaningful ways.

Here at Monkey Puzzle Hither Green we support all of our Team with hands on First Aid training, updated every 3 years. This means parents can rest assured that our team have confidence in Pediatric First Aid, CPR, Dealing with Choking and adminstering auto-injectors alongside a range of important skills!
