HOW TO VOTE
Lots of students are struggling with the website, so I’m reshaping the voting instructions with text comments for accessibility. Go to my profile to read them!

VOTING STEP 1:
Log into the SU website (soasunion.org) with your student ID

VOTING STEP 2:
AFTER you log in, go to soasunion.org/elections

STEP 3:
Now you’re logged in, click the green button that says ‘vote now’

VOTING STEP 4
Click the check boxes against the categories you self-identify as part of, and accept the terms and conditions.

VOTING STEP 5
Once you’re logged in and on the right page, click the green button that says ‘start voting’

VOTING STEP 6
Rank your candidates for each role in other of preference - 1 for first choice, and so on

VOTING STEP 7
Click ‘no further preferences’ when you’re done ranking candidates

VOTING IS OPEN UNTIL 5PM TODAY

USING SOAS SU DEMOCRATIC STRUCTURES
Initiated, proposed and passed policy to add two new Executive Officer Roles: Part-Time Student Officer & Student Parents Officer, after identifying a need to better represent these students. Ordinary students were actively involved in the creation of these policies, and helped present them at the UGM
