Acknowledging vulnerability can be a challenging personal journey, but as a it needs to be part of your toolkit
âś…Here are 6 tips to be comfortable showing your vulnerability as leader
➡1. Don’t try to bluff or shout around your weaknesses- it’s obvious and alienating. Acknowledge them and build highly capable teams based around the following key pillars:
➡2. Encourage expertise and recruitment of the best,
➡3. Understand you can’t do everything and even if you could, quality will suffer,
➡4. Create a culture where vulnerabilities can be discussed openly to relieve the pressure that sometimes bottle up in a team
➡5. Be reflective. Maybe write a personal note that allows you in private to articulate who you are, how you think and your vulnerabilities, Writing can get your thoughts flowing
➡6. Become an accessible, person-centered leader with a growth mindset and see how many followers you attract.
