Last week, Year 1 made a delicious pear crumble! 🍐

They had a wonderful session consolidating their knowledge of measurement whilst nothing their fine motor skills to work (and using up excess pears to prevent food waste!).

They discussed how to cut their pears safely into halves, carefully weighed the ingredients and practised rubbing together the crumble topping.

The children thoroughly enjoyed eating their crumble in the afternoon - it got a big thumbs up from everyone! 😋

Something amazing is on the horizon… 🏫

We are so excited to share a first glimpse of our beautiful, new school site!

Our staff have already had the chance to step into this incredible space, and the excitement is building as we look ahead to moving in December 2026.

We can’t wait for our children to learn, grow and thrive in such an inspiring environment- this is just the beginning of an exciting, new chapter for our school community.

The countdown starts now!

This afternoon, 12 talented students from Year 1 to Year 6 proudly took part in a piano concert.

Each performer showed great confidence and dedication as they shared their hard work with family, friends and teachers.

Well done to our young pianists! 🎹🎼

In Year 3, a mother dragon swooped into school and left a dragon egg for each child to care for until they hatched! 🐉

The magical experience became the perfect stimulus for their literacy lessons, inspiring the children to use a range of exciting fronted adverbials to describe the dramatic hatching moments and the adventures their dragons got up to in their very first moments of life.

Our Gardening Club finally harvested this incredible cabbage that they’ve been nurturing since the winter. 🪏🥬

It was so rewarding to see the children work together to share out the leaves so that everyone could take a piece of the harvest home!

Year 1 had a lovely day out at Kew Gardens today!

After a trip on the Mildmay line, they got stuck into a Plant Hunters workshop where they identified plant parts and crafted their own mini trees.

They ended the day by exploring the Palm House and the Prince of Wales Conservatory. They were amazed by how the air changed as they walked in and were absolutely fascinated by the scale of the tropical plants!🌱🌴

They bought cress and sunflower seeds and once back in class, planted them. They are excited to watch them grow over the coming weeks! 🌻
