Last week, we had a great day at Golders Hill Park. We saw animals, played, and walked a lot. After a fun day, we took a long nap, and we had a music session at the nursery.

A huge well done to our little explorers who were brave enough to interact with the snake, frog, gecko, chinchilla and turtle at the animal show. This children had a blast and learnt so much front the lovely animal keeper who shared a ton of cool animal facts with us. # andis

This week at Andi's Childminding, we're exploring the five senses. We dive into activities and circle time related to one sense each day.

Today was all about hearing! We talked about our ears, grooved to the music, shook shakers loudly, and then enjoyed some quiet time. We also chatted about animal sounds and vehicle noises.

We had a great time in the garden playing with various toys and being active. The children had fun with free play, and lots of laughter, and now they're all peacefully napping in their beds.

The Easter celebrations can bring bright, new activities and opportunities for learning.

We have enjoyed a lovely trip to the library yesterday. Routine walks to the library will enable the children to become familiar with their local environment. At the library, the children enter a generally quit and restrained environment in which they will be expected to respect the needs of other people who use it.

We were so pleased to see many children wanting to take books and sit down to read it.

Xin Nian Kuai Le! or Happy New Year! Chinese New Year is a perfect way to introduce our children to different cultures and traditions that may not be familiar to them or their families. In many cultures, each year is also associated with an animal from the zodiac. This year is the year of the dragon, so our little dragons listen some traditional Chinese music, dress up in Chinese customs and make so much fun.
