π I love when someone says to me: "So you are doing posts?". The truth is that the marketing job is so much more than that.
β¨ 1. You need to learn/read psychology to know what your audience wants and needs, what are their daily pains and needs, and how can you solve users' problems
β¨ 2. Design and copywriting. Most companies don't have Designers, Copywriters, and Marketing specialist. Usually, this person is only one - Marketeer. But even if you have a Designer and Copywriter, you still need to understand both areas to give them tasks and requirements and explain exactly what you want.
β¨ 3. Advertising platforms - apart from the talent to sell, you need to acquire technical skills. Not only should you know the platforms' rules, how they work, audiences and settings, and how to create campaigns, but you also need to know how the algorithms work and how to send them signals or so-called optimizations.
β¨ 4. Data analysis - you need to be good with numbers to understand the results of your marketing efforts.
β¨ 5. Creating content - you have to be good at planning, organizing, and creating content in time. This is the part with the posts that is part of your marketing strategy.
β¨ 6. Trends and updates - you must constantly follow trends and updates as everything changes quickly.
So the truth is you can learn everything, and it's not that hard. It just needs time and effort, like everything good in life. But it is also not just doing posts; marketing is so much more.
Respect people who are doing it! β€οΈ

π
ββοΈA list of the worst Instagram mistakes you can do. I am glad to share it with you as I have made most of them and maybe I can help you to avoid them. π€©
π±One of the biggest is buying followers or buying likes. It was very trendy, I think it still is for some people. Years ago I used a paid app that helps you grow a following and my account grew fast with thousands of new followers. I didn't know back then that most of the followers were new or fake accounts. π€― The only result was a fatal drop in my engagement which led my posts to be almost shadowbanned.
πWhen you have new followers, Instagram algorithms start sharing your content to these profiles in order to check how interested in you those new followers are. π΅βπ«When the profiles aren't interacting with you, Instagram gets confused and starts to give you less and less reach. So the people interested in you also don't see your posts so much.
β
So my advice - never do that, it will be your biggest mistake! I can say with certainty that the other mistakes will also be fatal for your reach, even if they are not so harmful as the 1st one. Always remember, it is a marathon not a sprint.

π One of the questions I mainly get is how can we determine our Facebook Ads budget. The truth is there isn't one answer but in this post, I am giving you a few options to do that based on the objective.
π But the best answer I can give to this is to try with a smaller budget in the beginning and increase when things are going well. I have described how you can do it for 3 of the most popular objectives on Facebook - Traffic, Engagement, and Conversions. π― These are the most effective objectives for sure.
β‘οΈ So, simply stick to what you can afford but keep in mind that for Conversions you need bigger budgets than Traffic and Engagement. Especially if you aim for Purchases then I would recommend at least 15-20$ per day. π¨The algorithm needs to have a budget to spend in order to learn which are the best customers that will actually buy from you and this is the most expensive event as it brings actual profits.
πIf your target is Engagement or Traffic, you can start with way smaller budgets. 3-5$ per day is more than enough, to begin with. Of course, it also matters in which country you are and in which niche.
π For example, there are niches that don't gather the same interest as others. There are also countries that are way more competitive like the USA which means that the cost is gonna be more expensive. You can easily research the average prices for your country and niche on Google.

π 25 000 000$ Ad spent learnt me that there is no targeting that can overcome a bad Facebook Ad. π―
What I mean is that we usually think the reason for Ads not working must be the Audience. π© It may be only if you make it too specific.
β‘οΈ I have seen cases in which even if you don't add any targeting at all, Facebook will still find you the right audience based on the interactions with your creative.
1οΈβ£ It works like that - Facebook tests the creatives in your Ad Set with 500-1000 impressions.
2οΈβ£ If the Ads are not performing well (they have no clicks, engagement, or people don't stay on your website), the algorithm moves on giving reach to the other Ads.
β
So make your targeting in your Ad with your main message and your visual and let the Facebook algorithm find the right people.
π Aim for a broader audience, not too specific. The more we limit the algorithm, the less the results will be. β IOS 14 definitely changed the game, but now a year later I see no change in the results with the same tactic. Facebook still works
π If your product is good, if your Ad is good, things will come into place. Trust the process.

π―What do you think is the most important thing when it comes to building a Brand?
π I know from experience that businesses trying just to sell get to a point where scaling is really hard. So what happens is you just sit and look at your business get smaller realizing you need to start from Zero to brand.
π I think if we begin with a strategy of turning our clients into people that love our brand we can definitely gain more as an outcome. Our users will be happier, and we will feel more satisfied with what we do.
π If we focus on good content that is useful, educate our audience (we can do that in EVERY business area), create a loyalty program with benefits for your returning clients, and BUILD TRUST, then the sky is the limit.
