We interviewed our lovely Year 6 pupils to find out about their 11+ journey. We are so incredibly proud of them and how far they have come.

It goes without saying they couldn’t have done it without their teacher Miss Ismail, all the other staff along the way, and the support they had at home!

In case this Monday morning had you reminiscing about Friday night…

We’re still singing in the office today thinking about the dynamic duo of and who brought the house down at this year’s Spring Soirée!

We’d love to see any photos or videos you took on the night so please share!

Year 3 have been learning all about soil… 🌱

The children were fascinated to discover the many animals that make their homes in soil, including worms, beetles, and other tiny creatures that help keep it healthy. They can now confidently label the three layers of soil and understand which types of soil are better for plants to grow in! 🐛 🪴

On Tuesday 27th January, members of the Junior Road Safety Team and Eco-Council attended the Explorers Ambassadors seminar at TFL’s offices in Stratford! 🤠

The day involved meeting pupils from other schools, discussing and hearing about initiatives implemented at schools around London, and then planning a competition to encourage better travel choices. After lunch, each school began designing a campaign to promote active travel. Our pupils, along with Mrs Taggart and Miss Graden, came up with an excellent initiative that they are excited to announce in the coming weeks… 🚨

Last Friday, Dukes Education hosted its Annual Awards Evening, celebrating the success of its schools and the incredible individuals making a real difference to pupils, staff, and the world around us! 🌍

We are especially proud to share that our Sustainability Lead, Mackenzie, won in her category! Her dedication has truly paved the way, from hosting our very own eco-depot shop to organising regular litter picks, beach cleans, and second-hand book sales. 🌱📚

Here’s to another year of keeping our school green! 💚♻️
