🌙 A New Hijri Year Is Approaching... But What Are You Migrating Towards? 🌙

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

In just a few days, the crescent moon will mark the beginning of 1448 AH and the blessed month of Muharram.
While many calendars count down to fireworks and celebrations, the Islamic New Year invites us to something deeper:

Reflection.
The Hijri calendar begins with the Hijrah—the migration of The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and his companions from Makkah to Madina. They left behind their homes, wealth and comfort for the sake of Allah ﷻ.

But Hijrah is not only a historical event. It is a lesson for every Muslim, every year.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
Transliteration:
Al-muhājiru man hajara mā nahā Allāhu 'anhu.

Translation:
"The true emigrant is the one who abandons what Allah has forbidden."
📖 Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī (10)

🌿 As 1448 AH approaches, ask yourself:
• What sin do I need to migrate away from?
• What good habit do I need to migrate towards?
• What change will bring me closer to اللہ ﷻ this year?

✨ A Simple 3-Step Start to 1448 AH
1️⃣ Make sincere istighfār for the shortcomings of 1447 AH.
2️⃣ Choose one spiritual habit to improve this year.
3️⃣ Strengthen your relationship with the Qur'an, even if it's only a few minutes each day.

Because the best new year resolution is one that brings you closer to Allah ﷻ.

💭 What is your primary spiritual goal for 1448 AH?

Share it below and inspire others to begin the new year with purpose.

🌿 In a world full of noise, stress and endless distractions, everyone is searching for peace.

Modern mindfulness tells us to look within.

Islam teaches us to turn towards

Through Salah, Dhikr and remembrance of our Creator, our hearts find the tranquillity they were created for.

📖 "Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest."
(Surah Ar-Ra'd 13:28)

💬 What is your favourite dhikr or Qur'anic verse that brings you peace?

🌿 The Wellness World Is Obsessed with "Mindfulness"... But Islam Has Had the Answer All Along 🌿

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Today, countless apps, podcasts and self-help gurus teach us how to find inner peace through mindfulness.

But as Muslims, we were taught the secret to inner peace over 1,400 years ago.

✨ Khushū‘ and Dhikr.
We do not need to empty our minds to find peace.
We fill them with the remembrance of اللہ ﷻ.

Allah ﷻ says:
Transliteration:
Alaa bi-dhikri Allāhi tatma'innul-qulūb.
Translation:
"Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest."
📖 Surah Ar-Ra'd (13:28)

Modern mindfulness teaches you to focus on your breathing. Islam teaches us to focus on the One who gave you breath.

So if life feels overwhelming today, step away from the screen for a moment.
1. Make Wuḍū.
2. Pray.
3. Remember
And allow your heart to find the peace it was created for.

💬 What is your favourite dhikr, du‘ā or Qur'anic verse that brings you immediate comfort?

Share with others, as اللہ ﷻ rewards for sharing what is good for the Ummah 🙏🏽.

🌅 Muslims Had the Original "5 AM Club" 🌅

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

The corporate world is obsessed with the idea of the "5 AM Club."

Productivity experts tell us that waking up before sunrise improves focus, discipline and success.

But as Muslims, we were taught the value of early mornings over 1,400 years ago.

Our "5 AM Club" is called Fajr Salah.

🎗️ The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ made a special du‘ā for his Ummah:
Arabic: اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لِأُمَّتِي فِي بُكُورِهَا
Transliteration: Allāhumma bārik li-ummatī fī bukūrihā.
Translation: "O Allah, bless my Ummah in their early mornings."
📖 Sunan Abī Dāwūd (2606)
📖 Also narrated in Jāmiʿ al-Tirmidhī (1212) and Ibn Mājah (2236)

👉🏽 There is a special barakah in those quiet hours before the world awakens.

While others are chasing productivity, a believer begins the day by answering the call of اللہ ﷻ.

✨ You pray. ✨ You remember Allah. ✨ You recite Qur'an. ✨ You start the day with gratitude.

When you conquer your sleep for your Creator, you gain far more than an early start.
👉🏽 You gain barakah.
👉🏽 And barakah can achieve what effort alone never can.

🎗️ The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
Arabic: رَكْعَتَا الْفَجْرِ خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا
Transliteration: Rak‘atā al-fajri khayrun mina ad-dunyā wa mā fīhā.
Translation: "The two rak‘ahs of Fajr are better than the world and everything in it."
📖 Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim (725)

💭 Tomorrow morning, don't just hit snooze.
1. Wake up.
2. Pray Fajr.
3. Seek the barakah that اللہ ﷻ has placed in the early hours.
4. ☕ What is your favourite post-Fajr routine?
5. 📖 Qur'an? ☕ Coffee or tea? 🚶 A peaceful walk? 🤲 Morning adhkār?

Share with others, as اللہ ﷻ rewards for sharing what is good for the Ummah 🙏🏽.

📖 The Qur'an Was Revealed to Be Understood, Not Just Recited

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Many Muslims spend years beautifully reciting the Qur'an.

But have you ever paused to ask yourself:
"Am I truly understanding the message that اللہ ﷻ is sending to me?"

The Qur'an was not revealed merely to be recited with our tongues. It was revealed to guide our hearts, shape our character, and transform our lives.

Allah ﷻ asks us:

Transliteration: Afa-lā yatadabbarūna al-Qur'ān
Translation:"Do they not then reflect upon the Qur'an?"
📖 Surah Muhammad (47:24)

Reflection (tadabbur) begins with understanding.

✨ Here are 7 Keys to Understanding the Qur'an:

🔑 1. Purify Your Intention
Approach the Qur'an seeking guidance from Allah ﷻ, not merely information. The more sincere the intention, the greater the benefit.

🔑 2. Use a Reliable Translation
If you do not understand Arabic, use a trustworthy translation to understand the meanings behind the words you recite.

🔑 3. Read Verses in Context
A single verse may not convey the complete message.
Always consider the verses before and after it, as well as the broader subject being discussed.

🔑 4. Learn from The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and His Companions
No one understood the Qur'an better than those who received and lived it. Their explanations illuminate its meanings.

🔑 5. Understand the Background of Revelation
Knowing when and why a verse was revealed often unlocks a deeper appreciation of its wisdom and relevance.

🔑 6. Refer Difficult Matters to Qualified Scholars
Islam encourages learning from those with knowledge.
Not every verse should be interpreted independently without proper understanding.

🔑 7. Study the Sciences of the Qur'an
Topics such as revelation, language, context, abrogation, and tafsīr help deepen our connection with Allah's Book.

🌱 The goal is not simply to finish the Qur'an.
The goal is to allow the Qur'an to change us.

1. To soften our hearts.
2. To strengthen our faith.
3. To guide our decisions.
4. To bring us closer to اللہ ﷻ.

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
Arabic: خَيْرُكُمْ مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ وَعَلَّمَهُ
Transliteration: Khayrukum man ta‘allama al-Qur'āna wa ‘allamah.
Translation: "The best of you are those who learn the Qur'an and teach it."
📖 Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī (5027)

💭 Which of these 7 keys do you think you need to focus on most?
Share your thoughts below and inspire others to strengthen their relationship with the Qur'an.

🌙 The Final Hours of Eid al-Adha Are Slipping Away… ⏳

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

While the first day of Eid al-Adha is filled with excitement, gatherings and celebration… many people do not realise that the final day of Eid also carries beautiful lessons and important reminders for every Muslim.
Today, the 13th of Dhul-Ḥijjah, marks the final hours of these blessed days.

At IQRA Madris Al-Qur'an, we love teaching our students not only what we do in Islam — but why we do it.

✨ Here are some beautiful reminders about today:

🔴 1. The Final Opportunity for Qurbani
Today is the final deadline for offering Qurbani.
The time ends at Maghrib (sunset), reminding us that acts of worship have sacred timings appointed by اللہ ﷻ.
Islam teaches us discipline, sincerity and fulfilling our duties without delay.

🗣️ 2. The Final Takbīrāt of Tashrīq
After the ‘Aṣr prayer today, the blessed Takbīrāt of Tashrīq officially come to an end.
📖 Allah says in the Qur’an:
Translation:
“And remember اللہ during the appointed days.”
📖 Surah al-Baqarah (2:203)
Encourage your children and families to fill these final hours with: ✨ Takbīr
✨ Dhikr
✨ Gratitude
✨ Du‘ā

🕋 3. The Emotional Farewell of the Pilgrims
At this very moment, many pilgrims in Makkah are completing their final rites of Hajj and preparing for the emotional Tawāf al-Wadā‘ (Farewell Tawāf).
What a powerful reminder of the unity of this Ummah — millions gathered together, worshipping one Lord, following the legacy of Prophet Ibrāhīm

🍽️ 4. Days of Eating, Gratitude and Joy
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
Transliteration:
Ayyāmu at-Tashrīqi ayyāmu aklin wa shurbin wa dhikri Allāh.
Translation:
“The days of Tashrīq are days of eating, drinking and remembering اللہ.”
📖 Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim (1141)
These are days of gratitude, family, remembrance and appreciating the blessings of اللہ ﷻ.

✨ As Eid comes to an end, let us not allow our connection with اللہ ﷻ and the Qur’an to end with it.
Let us continue: 🤍 Learning
🤍 Teaching
🤍 Reflecting
🤍 Reciting
🤍 And living by the Qur’an throughout the year.
💭 The real success of Eid is not just celebration… but transformation.

✨ Want to help your children stay connected to the Qur’an and its beautiful lessons all year round?

🌙 Tomorrow Is the Day of ‘Arafah 🌙

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

The greatest day of the year is almost here.

Did you know that the 9th of Dhul-Ḥijjah — the Day of ‘Arafah — is among the most sacred and blessed days in the Islamic calendar?
Whether you are standing on the plains of ‘Arafah during Hajj, or observing from home, this day holds immense mercy, forgiveness and reward from اللہ ﷻ.

✨ Here is why this day is so special:

🕋 1. Two Years of Sins Forgiven

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:

Transliteration:
Ṣiyāmu yawmi ‘Arafah aḥtasibu ‘alā Allāhi an yukaffira as-sanata allatī qablahu wa as-sanata allatī ba‘dahu.

Translation:
“Fasting on the Day of ‘Arafah, I hope from اللہ ﷻ, expiates the sins of the previous year and the coming year.”
📖 Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim (1162)

✨ One day of fasting.
✨ Two years of sins forgiven.

What an incredible mercy from اللہ ﷻ.

🔥 2. A Day of Freedom from Hellfire
The Day of ‘Arafah is the day on which اللہ ﷻ frees more people from the Hellfire than on any other day of the year.

It is a day for sincere tawbah, tears, du‘ā and returning back to Allah.

🤲 3. The Best Day for Du‘a:

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:

Transliteration:
Khayru ad-du‘ā’i du‘ā’u yawmi ‘Arafah.

Translation:
“The best du‘ā is the du‘ā made on the Day of ‘Arafah.”
📖 Jāmiʿ al-Tirmidhī (3585) — Ḥasan

Raise your hands and ask اللہ ﷻ for everything your heart desires.

📖 4. The Completion of Islam
It was on this blessed day that Allah revealed:

Translation:
“This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favour upon you…”
📖 Surah al-Mā’idah (5:3)

✨ Quick Action Plan for the Day of ‘Arafah
Even if you are not standing on the plains of ‘Arafah… you can still:
✅ Fast from dawn until sunset
✅ Remember اللہ ﷻ abundantly
✅ Increase your dhikr and takbīrāt
✅ Send ṣalawāt upon The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ
✅ Make sincere du‘ā from the heart
✅ Give charity (ṣadaqah)
✅ Seek forgiveness sincerely

Because this may be the very day your du‘ā is accepted.

💭 Don’t let this blessed day pass like an ordinary day.

May اللہ ﷻ accept the Hajj of the pilgrims, forgive our sins, and grant us all Jannah. آمين

⭐ If this reminder benefits you, share it so others may benefit too.

🌙 10 Blessed Days. Endless Du‘ās

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

The best days of the year are almost here.
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
Transliteration:
Mā min ayyāmin al-‘amaluṣ-ṣāliḥu fīhā aḥabbu ilā Allāhi min hādhihi al-ayyām.

Translation:
“There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to اللہ ﷻ than these days.”
📖 Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī (969)

As the blessed days of Dhul-Ḥijjah approach, don’t let them pass like any other days.
Even if you are not going for Hajj…
your heart can still journey towards اللہ ﷻ.

🤲 These are beautiful days to ask اللہ ﷻ for:

1️⃣ Forgiveness for past sins
2️⃣ Guidance and steadfastness
3️⃣ A softer heart connected to Qur’an

7️⃣ Protection from sins and distractions
8️⃣ Acceptance of your good deeds
9️⃣ Jannah and safety from the Fire

📖 Allah says in the Qur’an:
Transliteration:
Wa qāla rabbukum ud‘ūnī astajib lakum

Translation:
“And your Lord says: ‘Call upon Me; I will respond to you.’”
📖 Surah Ghāfir (40:60)

✨ These are not just 10 days.

✨ What If Allah Accepted Just One Du‘ā Today?

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

What would you ask اللہ وبرکاتہ for?
• Forgiveness?
• Guidance?
• Healing?
• Rizq?
• Relief from hardship?
• A righteous spouse?
• Jannah?

Sometimes we make du‘ā while thinking:
«“Maybe Allah won’t answer me…”»

Himself says:

Transliteration:
Wa qāla rabbukum ud‘ūnī astajib lakum

Translation:
“And your Lord says: ‘Call upon Me; I will respond to you.’”
📖 Surah Ghāfir (40:60)

The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:

Transliteration:
Ad-du‘ā’u huwa al-‘ibādah

Translation:
“Du‘ā is worship.”

📖 Jāmiʿ al-Tirmidhī (3371) — Ḥasan Ṣaḥīḥ

Never underestimate a sincere du‘ā made:
• in the middle of the night,
• after salah,
• with tears,
• or from a heart that has nobody left except Allah.
Allah hears every whisper.
Every fear.
Every silent pain.

And sometimes… one single du‘ā changes everything.

🤲 Keep calling upon اللہ ﷻ — even when the answer is delayed.
Delay is not abandonment.

💭 Tell us honestly:
What is one du‘ā you hope اللہ وبرکاتہ accepts for you this year?

⭐ If this reminder benefits you, share it so others can reflect too.
