If they have sought help, they may have been told:

‘Maybe surgery will work?’
They are likely feeling lost. Afraid. Shame.
This is where we make a real difference. It’s not just speech about relieving or eliminating a few annoying symptoms.
It’s about providing hope. Comfort. Support. Relief.
