To perform CPR on a baby give 5 quick breaths then give 15 chest compressions with crossed thumbs, followed byv2 breaths and continue until help arrives. Fir a choking baby givev5vback slaps then 5 chest thrusts, again with crossed thumbs with the head angled downwards

If a child over 1 year shallows a button battery, give 10mls of honey every 10 mins and get them to hospital

Changes to Paediatric First Aid. If using a Defibrillator on a baby or pr***en place the front pad to the left of the sternum (breastbone) the rear pad between the shoulder blades. For a teenager place the same as an adult. Fir CPR if trained in PFA, give 5 breaths then continue 15 compressions and 2 breaths until help arrives.

If you are deeply unconscious your tongue can block your airway ( you can't actually swallow it). Tilting the head back and lifting the chin raises the tongue andows the patient to breathe
