Over the last couple of months, we have been watering and looking after our carrots, which we were growing. We have recently harvested them, composted the stems, and have taken a pack of carrots 🥕 home
We have been learning about how to look after our plants, the fruit & veg that we are growing and leaving some water around the garden for the birds.
This week, we have been learning about composting and that we need to rotate our compost barrel to help mix it.
Peas, tomatoes, strawberries, blueberries, and carrots are all planted, ready for the children to help water, grow, and harvest when ready.
Today, we released the last of our butterlies!
After watching our caterpillars grow into beautiful butterflies, today we released our first lot of butterflies 🦋 Our second lot will be released in the next couple of days.
Our caterpillars have changed and are now waiting to hatch in their butterfly 🦋 habitat before we release them
