We are delighted to share that every pupil achieved either a Distinction or High Merit in our recent LAMDA exams. This is a fantastic result and a reflection of the hard work and commitment they have shown.

LAMDA isn’t just about preparing for an exam. Our sessions help children develop confidence, communication, self-expression and performance skills, giving them the tools to express themselves both on and off the stage.

A huge well done to everyone, you should be incredibly proud of yourselves! 🎉

You’re In The Band 🎸🤘🏻⚡️

01/09/2026

Some of our favourite snaps from our School of Rock workshop 🎸

Our 11+ performers spent the day channelling their inner rockstars! They learnt choreography to ‘You’re In The Band’ and worked on a script based around what happened after the band realised they had what it takes. They explored the iconic characters such as Dewey Finn, Zack Mooneyham and Summer Hathaway and had a great day! 🤘🏻⚡️

Some of our eldest pupils hard at work preparing for their LAMDA examinations 🎭✨

Thinking about starting your child's LAMDA journey?

At JoRo, we offer LAMDA from as young as 5 years old. Younger pupils begin with Stage examinations, learning and performing poems while becoming comfortable speaking and performing in front of others.

As they progress, students can continue with communication examinations in Verse and Prose or move on to Acting examinations, exploring a range of texts, characters, and performance styles.

Children joining us at an older age will be assessed and placed in the most suitable examination grade for their age and ability, ensuring they can progress from the right starting point.

Whether your child is completely new to LAMDA or already has experience, we'd love to help them with their journey.

Please get in touch for more information about LAMDA or our classes 🎭

Thank you to everyone who joined us over the past few days for our workshops! ✨

We loved welcoming a mix of familiar faces from our regular classes, returning campers and lots of new ones too. It was amazing to see everyone making new friends, building confidence and developing their skills in the arts 💫

Over the two days, the children worked on scripts and choreography, enjoyed karaoke sessions, played plenty of games and had some themed colouring time to relax 🎭🎶

It was a fantastic couple of days and we can’t wait to see you all again next time! 💛

Lots of imaginative drama play today with some of our younger students 💭🎭

Today the children loved creating their own costumes and characters. From monsters, to superheroes, there was so much to explore! 🦸🏻‍♂️

JoRo Company is our advanced performing arts class combining dance, drama and LAMDA. It is all about pushing skills, building confidence and reaching full potential.

This term the students have been working incredibly hard, with most learning contemporary dance for the first time.

We are also exploring a Traitors themed script to develop characters and improvisation. They need to pay close attention to detail as they try to work out who the traitor is!

They’re also smashing their LAMDA prep, memorising scripts and bringing their characters to life.

So proud of their progress! 🌟
