We can’t wait to welcome Ladies in Pigs back to this year’s show!

Once again, they’ll be running their brilliant children’s cooking workshops throughout the day, giving our younger visitors the chance to get hands-on in the kitchen, learn new skills and discover more about British food and farming. 🌾🐷

The workshops are always great fun and a fantastic way to get children thinking about where their food comes from – and, of course, they’ll get to enjoy what they make too!

Our East Anglian members enjoyed their annual Summer meeting last week ☀️ they discussed previous and upcoming events, new opportunities and other exciting projects, before tucking into some delicious, locally produced pork 🐖 🇬🇧 Thank you to all our members for their fantastic support, it was great to see three generations of Ladies in Pigs together, and potentially a fourth one day!

Our trip to The Great Yorkshire Show was a huge success 🎉 We had lots of the younger generation visiting our stand and getting involved in cooking workshops. It is always very rewarding to educate the next generation of potential farmers 🧑🏻‍🌾 chefs 👩‍🍳 and pork consumers 🐖

Can you help educate children ages 3-11 about British Farming and Farm Assured Pork? 🐖 🇬🇧

We are looking to recruit new members, with farming knowledge, to join Ladies in Pigs.

We deliver workshops at schools during term time and attend agricultural shows, running children’s workshops or cooking demonstrations.

You will receive full training, uniform, Enhanced DBS check, Food Hygiene certification, mileage and paid hours at minimum wage.

The cost of £30 membership to join Ladies in Pigs is to cover your training/certification costs and insurance.
