Important Update: Competition & Fee Changes
Dear Parents,
We have officially issued the Competition Entry Sheets. Please ensure these are returned to us by this week or, at the latest, by next week so we can begin our preparations.
Training & Attendance
This is a vital time for all students to focus on their learning. To ensure they are fully prepared, please prioritize class attendance.
• Boost your training: If you would like your child to attend twice a week, it is only £10 extra. This is a great way to build confidence before the event!
Fee Update
Please take note that our fees will be changing starting in March.
• The new rates will apply to all new students.
• Current students with missed or late payments will also be moved to the new pricing structure.
Grading Information
To avoid any confusion, we are handing out forms one at a time. Once you return the completed Competition Sheet, we will then provide your child's Grading Sheet. We found that giving both at once can be a bit overwhelming!

We have two major events fast approaching. To ensure every student is successful,
we are officially entering our intensive preparation phase.
🗓️ Key Dates
• Grading: Second week of March 2026.
• Inter-Club Competition: April 19, 2026.
• Location: Newham Leisure Centre.

🥋 Preparation & Attendance
Success requires consistency. We are committed to getting every student ready, but we need your commitment in return:

• Don’t Miss Classes: Every session from now until the events is vital for progress.

• Parental Support: We ask parents to encourage their children during this focused training period.

• Attendance Policy: * If a student is feeling slightly under the weather, we still encourage them to come and watch the lesson. Observing is a valuable part of learning and keeps you mentally prepared.
• Note: If a student is severely ill or contagious, please stay home to recover.

🤝 We Need Your Help!
To make the Inter-Club Competition a success, we are looking for volunteers to fill the following roles:
1. Referees: We are selecting 20 referees for the event.
2. Parent Volunteers: We need 10 parents to provide general support and coordination on the day of the competition.

10th Inter-Club Competition – Entry Open!

It is time to test your skills!
This competition serves as vital preparation for the upcoming WUMF 4th World Championship.
We want all our students to participate and gain valuable mat experience.

Event Details:
• Disciplines: Every student must choose a minimum of 2 categories (Kata and Kumite).

• Entry Fee: Only £15 (We keep our costs low to support our students—most clubs charge £25!).

• Prizes: We are awarding 6 winners in Kata and 4 winners in Kumite with stunning Crystal Medals.
