Meet and Craft

The children are getting so much better in their creativity and their stitch definition.Some of the children have been coming every school holiday since l opened last year and you can see the improvement in their stitches.
Each and every one of the children choose what they want to make on the day and we make exactly that.
I am a strong believer in giving children the right to choice and l love being busy so this just works for me

A lot of Octopuses were born l think now is the turn of the Dumplings.We will start with the Dumplings and then move on to the basket

Some incredible crochet done this week .l guide children to make what they want not what l want them to make.Each day l have no plan the children plan their day when they walk through the door and we work together to make it happen

So many happy face this week l am taking a little break from Friday 31st back open again Monday 10th August please continue booking and a massive thank you for your continued support

Day 2 of The Summer Creativity club l so wish the time doesn’t go so quick and we can crochet forever .l am so happy to be sharing my passion for Crochet with children.The perseverance is just incredible talk about a whole day to crochet a mini octopus and not giving up.To all the children that come to Meet And Craft you should be very proud of yourselves🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿

Day 1 of The Summer Holiday Crochet and lots of creativity club.Everything l teach children is done by hand no machine.Lots of happy faces by the end of day including me love to crochet.

I am starting to introduce crocheting using cotton yarn to children not the easiest to crochet with but my favorite.That is how l learned using fine cotton yarn with a 1.5mm

Well done Zoe she crocheted her skirt and made a matching one for her Labubu.

A lot of sewing was done today it was nice to see some old faces and new faces.
