We are absolutely thrilled to announce the opening of our brand new 24/7 Location in Bermondsey! We are new to the area and would love to meet you! Please pop in for a coffee, a chat and a tour around our beautiful nursery! We are very proud of what we have created and are so excited to show you all what we can offer to the local community!

We are overwhelmed by the response to our Open Day this passed Saturday; thank you so much for the incredibly warm welcome.

At Strong Tower Around the Clock Nursery, our facilities include; a huge free flow classroom, a safe and secure baby section, a lovely climbing frame, a fully stocked library, a soft play room with lots of lovely resources available, secure sleeping arrangements for overnight care, a shower for extended stays and wheelchair access across the whole building!

🌈🫧 GRADUATION 2024 💐🪅

Yesterday, we said farewell to our preschool class of 2024. How lucky we were to spend this year with you all! As they begin their next adventure, we wish them prosperity and success. We loved seeing each of them take turns to share what they would like to be when they grow up, at Strong Tower we thrive off seeing children stand tall and aim higher!

Thank you to the parents, carers, friends and family that joined us in celebrating this joyous occasion, we certainly had an amazing time !!

Here's a look at our trip to the duck pond....

We explored our nearest duck pond as a part of our curriculum, this month the theme is Our Environment so we knew this would be the perfect spot.

The children enjoyed exploring the pond, listening to the sounds in nature, feeding the birds and CHASING the ducks! We all had such a wonderful time!

Deptford Christmas Market! 💗🌠⛄️🎅

We love our local amenities! We were so happy to explore the special Christmas Market last Friday. ALL of us at Strong Tower Day Nursery were blown away by the beautiful set up and the generosity of those providing for our local community. Thank you!🌟🕯️🦌🎄

Here is a look inside our sensory room!

Sensory play plays an important role in a child’s learning and development. Much of our learning comes through our ability to use our senses to retain information. Sensory play is a lot of fun. It also offers many benefits for child development, including:

🖖 Helping children understand how their actions affect what’s around them.

🧠 Supporting brain development, enhancing memory, complex tasks and problem solving.

👐 Developing fine motor skills through tactile play (useful when children want to hold a pen or use scissors for example).

👅 Supporting language development, communication and social skills.

👀 Enhancing memory and observational skills.

🤩 Encouraging creative and independent thinking.

🫂 Emotional regulation by providing a calming effect on children’s angry or anxious feelings.
