Puffy Paint
Soft, squishy, and full of creativity! 🎨✨ This Puffy Paint activity lets children explore texture and colour while building fine motor skills, imagination, and sensory awareness through fun, hands-on artistic play.

Resources needed:
1. 1 cup shaving cream (foam, not gel)
2. ½ cup white glue (PVA school glue)
3. Food coloring or washable paint
4. Mixing bowl
5. Spoon or spatula
6. Thick paper or cardstock
7. Paintbrushes or cotton buds

Step by step:
1. Mix the base
In a bowl, gently mix 1 cup of shaving cream with ½ cup of white glue. Stir slowly to keep the mixture fluffy (don’t overmix).

2. Add colour
Divide the mixture into smaller bowls if using multiple colours. Add a few drops of food coloring or a small amount of washable paint and gently stir.

3. Paint your design
Use brushes or cotton buds to paint onto thick paper or cardstock. The paint will look fluffy and raised.

4. Let it dry
Allow artwork to dry flat. It may take several hours to fully dry, depending on how thick the paint is applied.

Dancing Ink
Colours come alive and dance across the page! 🎨✨ This Dancing Ink activity invites children to explore colour mixing, movement, and creativity while developing early observation skills and enjoying magical sensory-based learning.

Resources needed:
1. Whiteboard (dry erase) marker
2. Gass bowl/plate (very important — it must be smooth)
3. Water
4. Jug or cup (for pouring water)
5. Paper towels

Step by step:
Step 1:
Use the whiteboard marker to draw a simple picture on the inside bottom of the bowl or plate.

Step 2: Let It Dry
Wait 1–2 minutes for the ink to dry completely.
This helps the drawing lift off properly.

Step 3: Slowly Add Water
Very gently pour water into the bowl.
Pour against the side so the water rises slowly.
✨ Watch closely — your drawing should lift off the surface and float!
