BE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE!

Just leaving this here, because several nannies recently have felt the need to really call me brave for speaking out on the racism, discrimination and the multiple attempts to blacklist in this industry. Specifically from witches associated with UK Nanny, INA, Dusty Nanny, AI Nanny, Eden Nannies, the group of bi***es that stole the NannyCON name and the No 1 culprit crasses Adventure Nannies.

Braveeee?? Nahh it's called INTEGRITY and using my platform to curate a more fair, inclusive, anti racist industry.

If that's a problem then exit stage left cuz mi nuh bizness. ๐Ÿ˜‚You should NOT be following me at all.

I'm always going to advocate for what's right and be the voice for nannies that are too scared to speak up publicly out of fear of being blacklisted by these dusty agencies. So i'm going to continue to speak on it AGAIN, AGAIN and AGAIN. I'm not the kind of black that sucks up to white people to get further in my career. Never have been and never will. With the news of Professor Jason Arday's tragic death and the hate campaign against him from jealous, racist demons. It has really made me reflect on my own experiences in the Nanny industry and I realised even more (cuz i've been knowing๐Ÿ˜‚)how much the nanny industry is built on favouritism and systematic racism. It's just disgusting and everyone sees it, but chooses to ignore it.

The most important lesson you should take from this is always be true to yourself even if it is not the popular thing to do and SPEAK UP when you see injustice or discrimination! Be a advocate for the less marginalised. ESPECIALLY in person and here on social media. Integrity and having a kind heart goes a long way, I promise.

I'm willing to die on a hill with this one, but IN MARRIAGE YOU HAVE TO TAP INTO YOUR INNER CHILD AND PLAY!

Lately I noticed that there is so much negative content about marriage online, so I just want to share a different perspective as someone that never wanted to be married my whole life to now being extremely happily married I'll say this.๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿคฃ

Me and Devon have been married 9 months now and honestly it has confirmed to me that I literally made the best decision to marry him. He has completely changed my already wonderful life for the better.

9months in, here are 4 important lessons I have learned so far:

๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿพโ€๐Ÿคโ€๐Ÿ‘จ๐ŸผWork as a team without losing yourself. You are still your own individual person, but you tackle every single issue together as a team.

๐Ÿ‘ฐ๐Ÿพโ€โ™‚๏ธTalk about EVERYTHING. Communication and Living authentically is the only way to build real trust. As someone who struggles with vulnerability, I know how hard this can beand sometimes it gets uncomfortable, but there is truly nothing my husband and I do not talk about. We introduced something called wedding hour when we were planning our wedding. Now we are married we have Marriage hour once a week. No phones, no distractions, go somwhere relaxing like a park, a local cafe or our balcony and just chat, ask questions and bond. It's honestly the BEST.

๐Ÿ’ Balance your needs with theirs. Don't be selfish. Make sure your partner's needs are catered to just as much as your own, and prioritize each other equally.

๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿพโ€๐Ÿคโ€๐Ÿ‘จ๐ŸผNever stop playing together. Tap into your inner child and keep things fun. Playfulness is how we keep our marriage fresh, and honestly, staying laughing together is the ultimate key to a great marriage.

If you are married or you learnt something from other people's healthy marriages drop the wisdom in the comments.๐Ÿ’œ

Oh and don't forget to take care of the child within you. KEEP PLAYING! ALWAYS!
