Challenges...

We often think of facing challenges as a negative - doing battle against obstacles and trying to rise above circumstances.
Young people are a force to be reckoned. But pushing outside of limiting beliefs - many of which are put upon them by external influences and school based trauma is one of the biggest challenges we hear about..

We have had many conversations so far this academic year with learner parents who say 'they have a truly creative mind, but they hated Art at school!' or 'they want to get creative and be crafty but we just don't know where to start?!'

Lets switch these challenges into a truly POSITIVE experience for you and your learner.

Feeling stretched, encouraged and driven to achieve something you'd previously believe yourself incapable - that's incredibly powerful, and even more so when it's experienced by the young mind.
The feeling of success and of triumph over your own mindset can set you FREE!

We're inviting you to take a look at the wonderful world of Mixed Media, where learners can beginners at a whole host of crafts and creative techniques. Where they can challenge themselves to be new to something and have no expectations of their end result having to meet a rigid set of 'success markers'.

It's not about the destination - its about the journey.

Print making could excite them.
Architectural model making may light a fire within.
Clay crafts could awaken their sense of themselves and the world.
Cosplay could set them free from feeling like they have to fit a mold.
Self Care and cosmetics might open a door to a whole new world to live in.

2024 looms, but why not set yourself the challenge to knowing nothing and simply learn, explore and investigate your own creativity - whatever shape it may take.

We have spaces available for enrolment for a January start for both our Level 1 and Level 2 NCFE Mixed Media courses.
With monthly payment options available (12 or 24 months) and no quibble cancellation policy, we've removed some of the biggest obstacles learners face to accessing qualifications.

Not only that but there's NO EXAMS or DEADLINES and you have a dedicated course assessor who is there to provide support throughout your course - however that support may look for your learner - as an individual.

Payment can be made on a payment plan basis that can be cancelled at any point with no financial penalisation* - we also offer the ability to come back and re-join at any point with previous payments counting towards that course 🙂

Your first payment will taken August 1st. This is effectively an administration payment which covers the cost of your Induction Pack and initiates for your personal log in for the Learner Portal to be generated.

Payments are then taken on the 1st of the month every month thereafter.
Our courses are fully flexible, delivered wholly online, without deadlines or exams to attend.

Learners will receive:
* Engaging and fillable workbooks
* Links to pre-filmed tutorials (allowing you flexibility on how and when you complete your course).
* A designated enhanced DBS checked assessor
* Online support from a qualified and experienced teacher
* Written feedback from your assessor after completion of each workbook
* The ability to complete your qualification at a pace that suits you!
* Registration and Certification with the awarding body NCFE.

We really value freedom of expression and creativity here so there is no right or wrong way, and Pip will share with us her tips for how she approaches drawing and sketching.
