Last week, we witnessed the incredible creativity and entrepreneurial spirit of our postgraduate and MBA Health students at the Global Business School for Health’s third annual Dragons' Den Competition.

Five finalist teams pitched their ideas to an esteemed panel of Dragons who are leaders in healthcare investment and entrepreneurship. From digital mentoring platforms to smart biomarker socks, each idea aimed to solve real challenges in global healthcare.

🏆 Congratulations to our winners, Team Lumina: Beatrice Xu, Danyaal Kazmi, Grace Hall, Yiyi Li, and Yuhong Shu, for their hybrid AI platform transforming how perinatal mental health risk is detected and managed. The Dragons were especially impressed by its scalability, clinical relevance, and early adoption in the US.

Beyond the competition, students gained valuable experience in pitching, innovation development, and mentorship from industry experts.

We’re so proud of all the participants who showcased that the future of healthcare is not only bright but driven by purpose, innovation, and passion.
