The Nurturing Tutor Worked for 15 years in Scottish Secondary Education. I’ve been head of Primary and Support departments. Available to tutor. Have M(Ed) and doing EdD. PMs ok.

I teach Maths and English from P1 to National 4 or 5 and Drama NAT 5 and Higher. I am available to teach young people during the week and at the weekends, and evenings, I have some slots taken but will try my best to work around your times. I can teach in your home/garden or in my home/garden. Cost Β£27.50 per hour. I have completed a master's in education and I am currently doing my doctorate. I h

Having worked as Principal Teacher of Support for Learning for 13 years I have taught the full range of curriculum subjects but focus on Maths, English and Drama. I have significant experience in working with pupils with a huge variety of Additional Support Needs. I can teach online or in person and the first session will be a free 30 minute online session to discuss targets, what you would like from the service/what your focus is and any specific learning styles/requirements you may have. Lessons will then be tailored to your individual needs.

Some of our students don't know how to identify and manage their emotions.

Some students don't have a positive role model to learn from.

This is why one of the most important parts of our job is social-emotional learning. Some students can't access core content without it. πŸ™Œ
