New Friday Bodgering group
@ Good in the wood Lochwinnoch

10am - 2pm
Age 8+

Bodgers were traditionally green Woodworking people based in woodland.

In this group we will focus on tool work such as Knives, Axes, saws, drawknives, the forge etc as well as even more modern tools like drills to help us along the way.

There are only 10 places to make it a more productive space for everybody, the group will start on the 6th of March.

Busy and fruitful term at Good in the Wood! Fruits, breads, berries, nuts, seeds, friendship and fun! We’ve watched the seasons turn together and now we’re taking a week off before getting the thermals on and the hot chocolate mugs packed 💚🍁💚🍄💚🍂💚

We now have two presses available and a ton of apples but please if you have some of your own bring them along 😎

This Friday 26th 4:30pm - 8:30pm

Fire - Hot Chocolate & Fireside Blether

If you have apples please bring them along we have hired equipment to mulch and press then bottle the apples and distribute among us.

We will bring apples 🍎 so even if you are not able to source any don’t worry we will share and hopefully we have enough to go round 😎

Morning! One last post about the family ceilidh before I leave you alone!

This Fri 15th 3-8pm woodland

-please bring cash and change! There will be snacks and some little crafts for sale for a donation
-Make sure you bring your sun cream it’s going to be hot. And a bottle of water for each of your party - there’s no running water on site but we will have some soft drinks to sell on the day
-If you’re coming by car please park near the primary school and walk up Calder St
-This is an alcohol and dog free event
-We will have two BBQ fire pits running and two camping stoves set up if you want to bring and make some food for your family. Please bring all your own plates etc.
-If you are able to bring home baking to sell for fundraising we’d be delighted, this raised so much money the last time!
-There will be free time to enjoy the woods and some chill activities. Speaker around 4/4.30, ceilidh music at 5pm and 7pm.
-You are entirely responsible for yourself and your own children (please note there is a river on site and there will be a fire going)

We are hoping it will be a joyful day, with good people in a beautiful place, coming together to fundraise for a super important cause. Please support in any way you can 🇵🇸💚🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
