The Nature Discovery Map Scotland (NDMS) toolkit, developed by NatureScot< engages and empowers students to improve their school grounds for nature and climate resilience. Project Drawdown have ranked loads of climate actions by their scientific merit, carbon savings, and speed, so you can see what is actually going to help, verses what's a load of hot air. We were surprised both types of wind turbines are among the top 4 climate actions. But which is best?

Did anything in this image surprise you? Did you know buildings use more electricity than industry? How about that road transportation releases more greenhouse gasses than flying? This is the numbers behid why we keep getting told we need to reduce our elelctricity consumption and try not to use our cars when other more eco friendly forms of transport are available.

We passed Earth Overshoot Day for 2026 on the 30th July. We are now taking more than the earth can sustainably give. What are you going to do to reduce your impact on the planet?
