Welcome to my new page!

I offer drum kit and percussion lessons to all ages and abilities.

A quick bit about me

I began my career in the Corps of Army music studying at the prestigious Royal Military School of Music, Kneller Hall. Whilst there, I gained both an Associate and Licentiate Diploma in percussion performance from Trinity College London. After graduating from Kneller Hall I joined the Royal Artillery Band and Orchestra serving a total of 5 years.

After leaving the Army I Studies at the Royal Conservatoire Of Scotland (RCS) gaining A BMus in DRum kit and Orchestral Percussion.

I was lucky to study with some of the best musicians in the world, including my main tutor Kurt Hans Goedicke, who sadly passed away this year. The inspiration and opportunities the RCS gave me were phenomenal. Life long memories.

For the last 15 years I have been teaching in local authorities, working with SQA pupils, conducting bands and ensembles, supporting classroom staff and creating performance opportunities for selected groups. Many of my recent pupils have been accepted into the RCS degree course and RCS juniors.
