How do you communicate under pressure?
How do you manage a deteriorating patient when the surgery is small, the team is stressed and everything suddenly becomes chaotic?
That's the difference between knowing the procedure and actually understanding the emergency.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with classroom-based education.
There is nothing wrong with PowerPoints.
There is nothing wrong with qualifications.
But let's stop pretending that a certificate automatically equals experience.
It doesn't.
A certificate proves you've completed a course.
Experience proves what you've done afterwards.
