Fife Youth Jazz Orchestra News and Events relating to the Fife Youth Jazz Orchestra FYJO meets every Thursday in term-time between 7pm and 8.45pm at the Lochgelly Centre.

All instruments and abilities welcome. It is open to any child aged between 8 and 19. We also run a Jazz Juniors session for children up to age 12 on Zoom on Thursdays, 6pm-6.30pm. Contact [email protected].

What a fantastic way to open the Langtoun Jazz Proms last night! 🎶
FYJO were delighted to share the stage alongside the Tullis Russell Mills Band and the Rosyth Concert Band for a wonderful evening of music.
The band were sounding superb, full of energy, confidence and musicality, and it was great to see all the hard work paying off in such a special concert setting.
A huge thank you goes to Richard and Pete for all their support, encouragement and dedication. Your contribution makes such a difference and is greatly appreciated by everyone involved.
Well done to all our musicians for a brilliant performance and thank you to everyone who came along to support the event.

Tuesday was one to remember 💙
We had the absolute pleasure of performing at the CHAS fundraiser event, and what an incredible night it was. The energy, the atmosphere, and the cause itself made it truly special for all of us.
Here’s a little behind-the-scenes look at our warm-up before we stepped on stage—those final moments of focus (and a few nerves!) before the music began.
Thank you to everyone who came along, supported, and made the night so meaningful. It’s always an honour to be part of something that makes a real difference.
