It's been a week of emotions here at Hayley's House. This is not a goodbye - it's a ciao for now πŸ‘‹

I have had the privilege of caring for the most beautiful human beings in the world for the last 3 years - some are still with me, others have moved on to big school and their siblings have joined the Hayley's House gang. 😍

I have made such wonderful friends in all my parents, whom I will always consider friends.

I want to take this opportunity to thank every so for person who has liked, shared and followed Hayley's House adventures. To those mums, dads, grandparents and those who have had an invested interest in Hayley's House over the last 3 years - Thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❀

For all my beautiful flowers, gifts and cards - I will treasure.

As one door closes, another opens - here's to the next chapter.

🌿 Herbal Tea 🌱

One of my lovely mum's delivered us a bucket full of Herbs from her garden today - which was the inspiration for today's setup.

Equipped with pots, pans, scoops, ladels, spoons and measuring jugs, the Tueaday gang enjoyed making their own Tea's. Using different herbs for each Teapot, and infusing it with Lemon, the scent from Hayley's House garden was divine!

It was lovely to welcome back an old face (not literally!) today in to the Monday club at Hayley's House. Angharad came to join her old friends and Brother for some Summer holiday fun.

This activity is a firm favourite here, and can be tweaked to include any plant, Herb, Vegetable or Fruit! Today we used Lemon, Fresh Mint, Cucumber, and frozen flower Ice Cubes that I prepared over the weekend with a bunch of flowers which were looking tired.

How cute are these Dough-Bots! We raided John's tool shed ( Shhhhh! 🀫) and used a variety of Nuts, Bolts, Gears, Buttons and more as Loose Parts, to make these awesome Dough-Bots.

We had lots of giggles with this activity, with the children imagining what their Robot would be like in real life, what they would be good at and whether they would have a special power! β˜‡
