We are delighted to announce that we have achieved the Eco-Schools Green Flag Level 3 Award! ♻️🎉
On Monday, we welcomed Julie Giles from Keep Wales Tidy, who visited to learn all about the fantastic eco initiatives taking place here at Llanharan Primary School.
A very special well done to the three pupils who confidently represented our Eco Committee. They delivered a fantastic presentation, sharing everything we’ve been working on over the past year, before giving Julie a tour of our school to showcase our eco projects in action. They spoke brilliantly about our Eco Code, our environmental targets, how we’ve achieved them, and what we’re working towards in the future.
A huge thank you also to all of our Eco Committee members for their enthusiasm, fantastic ideas and commitment throughout the year. Thank you for sharing your brilliant ideas in our Eco meetings and for helping to make positive changes around our school.
Finally, thank you to everyone who has supported our eco journey this year. Whether you’ve taken part in litter picks, entered our poster competitions, attended our swap shops, helped to maintain our woodland area, or supported our eco projects in any other way, every contribution has made a difference. Your support has helped us achieve this fantastic award and certainly hasn’t gone unnoticed.
